From the Genie website I was directed to AMAZON. Claimed the bras were Genie brand. I've been wearing this brand for 5 years now and began buying them at Walmart. At that time they came in a box marked GENIE. Inside the back of the bra it read GENIE. With my shipment from AMAZON however the bras came in a clear package and there was NO "GENIE" wording on the bra itself. The quality was MUCH THINNER, and it didn't support me like my other GENIES. I really question if this was a knock off? AMAZON, how are we protected and assured we are getting what we ordered? I had always trusted the AMAZON name in the past.     • I love the genie bra..but...

I have been a huge fan of these bras for many years. My previous Genie bras lasted me literally for several years and were so comfortable. I was really excited to find them on Amazon and was hoping for the best. I do need to mention that I do not normally dry my bras in the dryer, they are always hung to dry. Also, I use a front loading non agitator washing machine so that my clothes are not torn up.. my previous Genie Bra wore out and the seams started fraying and coming apart so they were no longer comfortable around my chest and back area. This happened after a long period Of having these items. I purchased these in November and I broke out the package in December. So I haven't even been wearing them but for about 3 months and one of them has already started fraying like my old ones did after several years of wear. The seam is coming apart all across where it goes on my back..the stitching is not right.. if not for this I would have given it five stars. I'm really disappointed that an old favorite has let me down. I don't know if it was a bad batch or somebody made this thing on Friday .. Lol.. but it's already falling apart and it really breaks my heart ... show more

I have bought a number of Genie bras in the past and then all of a sudden, you couldn't find them anywhere. Recently found them on Amazon, but the product I received was not the same quality as the previous purchases. Size was smaller and that affected the padded inserts. They were WAY TOO SMALL.

Very comfortable. I am a 38DD and it gives good support, even to sleep in. When I was 75lbs heavier (44DD) I had a hard time getting in and out of it, the band would roll up but stay put once in place. If you have limited mobility and trouble reaching over your head or around your back, you probably want something with a front or back closure. Note: this has removable pads but I keep them in so the world doesn't see my nipples. They will shift and come out in the wash, so I tacked them in place with a needle and thread. Are these even the real Genie bras??? Sure there comfy, stretchy(a little too stretchy with no support) and decent for the price but advertising genie bras that aren’t actual genie bras is false advertising. Someone who has had genie bras before knows the name is inside the back fabric. And the fabric is much more supportive. The ones I was sent do not have the name on the fabric. The bras didn’t have any identification that they are the real thing and the packaging didn’t either. All I got was bras stuffed in plastic with no paper or box (as seen on TV) saying genie bras. Hmm... Also these bras traveled from China during a pandemic with no information stating where these bras were coming from before hand. That is not ok especially in a PANDEMIC. Amazon needs to be more clear where things are being made and shipped from. If I knew where they were coming from I would of never bought them. ... show more

    • Comfortable, soft support with no irritating stitching
I purchased these because I have a sensitive skin condition on my back. Regular bras have catgut sewn into them and it was irritating the skin condition very badly. These bras do not have any stitching at that place where it covers the back so it solved my problem. Plus I have very painful skeletal problems which regular bras seem to exascerbate. These do not cause my back to hurt as bad. I have already ordered more. I purchased a size larger than what the chart shows to be my size so they would not fit as tightly. These bras are sized waaaay too small! I've ordered these bras before in a 3X and they fit fine. Sizing and material is not consistent, and in this country (US), if something says 3X, that should indicate a larger size. The bra size chart said I should get a 2X so I went a size higher! These bras are sized for someone who's sized like a child. I do not recommend. If you order, make sure you order about 3 sizes larger than what you need! ... show more

If you check my picture, you will see this bra size 4x over a similar style Japanese bra in 3x, and US bra in 2x. This bra has the smallest band and cup size of the three. Actual bra measurements are nowhere near the advertised size. Supposed to fit 44DDD, would be tight on a 40DD, best fit for a 38D. In US size, this is an XL. In typical Asian sizing, it would be a 2XL. The material is very stretchy and I was able to get it on, though I would never say that it fit. The bra has little support, and pushes the breast against the chest which would make boob sweat a major issue, and possibly cause chafing. The reason for 2 stars and not 1 is for a few reasons. 1) This bra would be pretty comfy for 38 C and smaller. 2) The stitching is good and the material feels nice. 3) The straps fall close to the shoulder, so it would not be visible with a wider neckline unlike most wire-free bras. 4) The return was super easy. ... show more
