The corset is true to size, though if your short waisted line me it will be a little long. The color is what I expected it to be. I used it to create a Poison Ivy costume. I applied the leaves in such a manner as to cover the metal hooks on the front otherwise I wouldn't have liked the way those look. The ribbon to tighten the corset did a good job holding it in place. I'm 5' 7" 190lbs 36D and I got an XL, and it....sorta fit. I certainly wouldn't have gone up or down a size, but there just wasn't enough space in the bra area. It was either squishing me flat with armpit bulges, or just not doing anything and giving me a weird shape. Seems like there might be a sweet spot of bra sizes that this would work for, but I'm not it. I really didn't think it would look good on me, I'm super small, to use it you have to keep in mind that if you squeeze it a lot from above it can fold and it can be uncomfortable. It is best not to squeeze it to the maximum, in order to have the best results.

The fabric and boning are well-made and comfortable. I wish I could find more reviews from skinny girls. I weigh 105lb, 34B cup, and am 5'5. I honestly wish I had bought a small and not a medium because I have the strings pulled to their tightest fit and the breast area is still loose. If you are the same build as me but have a bigger chest this should fit perfectly.
