Sure this is listed sort of as a bridesmaid's dress and it would work perfectly for that also given that it comes in many colors. But it also happens to work for any other occasion that might be even just semi-formal which is what I wore it for and the fact that I can wear it like 20 plus different ways is awesome. It looks amazing on and I know that it would on anybody. The dress has quite a bit of a elasticity to it. However the fabric itself isn't particularly stretchy which I think is good. Just make sure that you know what size you need prior to ordering. While the fabric itself is quite thin it is not see-through it's really just an incredibly breathable fabric. Upon checking my sizing I got just about the perfect size but I did not account for the fact that I had actually lost a bit of weight so mine was just ever so slightly loose but not enough to make a difference. It did not have any kind of weird scent or smell to it In fact it just smelled brand new. You can wash it on a gentle cycle no bleach! And air dry definitely don't get it dry cleaned. Did I mention how many different ways you can wear those because I haven't even discovered the full gamut of what I could possibly do with it which is exciting because I freaking love this dress! Ever since years and years ago the multi-way to wear dresses came out I've wanted one they just have not been at all affordable until now and the quality of this dress is amazing and I couldn't be happier I highly recommend that everybody gets one and also they have a ton of colors so I mean just go pick a color get the right size you will be super super happy to have it You don't have to wear it all the time or you can, you can just hang it in your closet and anytime you have an occasion to do yourself a solid and wear it because you will get endless compliments. 100/10 easily in fact I would give it infinite stars if I could.

I am 5'9, 189lb with a lot of booty and thigh. This is the perfect size for me. The light purple is more toned down in the photos than in person, which is normal it was very easter colored. The elastic band is much thicker and chunkier than I was expecting. I'm going to have to tie it in a way that covers the band. It sits a little awkward, but I may just not be tying it properly. It has light, good quality fabric. Not see through at all, very soft, very long which is great because I am quite tall. The back of it sits similar to a sundress, but the front is very romantic. Perfect for an outdoor/spring wedding. Straps to tie are extremely long leaving lots of room for different patterns and designs. Also comes with a mini top to cover the breasts in case you want a two piece or some extra protection.Over all, very nice, but I would not have paid over $40 if I had tried it on first. I would pay maybe $30.

Just the perfect dress! We got this dress originally in green for some really cool artistic senior pictures in the woods. It was amazing. And she wore it several more times. Fast forward to spring of junior year in college and she’s invited to a black and white embassy party. It’s so hard to get dresses that look flattering on her so it dawned on us to buy the same dress as years earlier but in black since she knew her green one still fit. She was absolute perfection at the party! We love how versatile these dresses are!

I ordered this dress in white for my teen’s Greek themed event at school. It arrived quickly and appears to be acceptable quality, but the stench has made me ill. As soon as I opened the package, this awful fragrance hit me in the face. It stunk up my living room, would not wash off my hands, and even stunk up my garage when I threw the package away. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say the manufacturer was trying to harm people! The dress also had brown-toned makeup smeared along the waistline. It’s possible the smell came from someone’s home who purchased the dress and returned it. I can’t imagine someone’s home smelling so toxic though. (Shame on Amazon for not ensuring the hygiene of returned products if that’s what happened.) The event is in a few days and I don’t have time to return the dress. I’m going to sanitize it and hope for the best. Fragrances such as the one that’s on this dress are endocrine disrupters. I cannot believe how sick this product has made in just a few minutes of being exposed to it. Buyer beware! Update: I tried everything and the smell has not come out of the dress. I tried washing it on the sanitize cycle multiple times, soaking overnight in an enzyme detergent, tried baking soda, lavender essential oils on dryer balls, and more washing. Whatever room it’s hanging in inevitably ends up smelling like the dress. The smell is 10x stronger when it’s wet. It even left the smell behind in my washer and dryer! I have never ever ever purchased such a bizarre product. It’s not like me to return a clothing item I’ve washed, but I’m going to attempt to return this one. It is an absolutely toxic product and, therefore, defective.
