After searching high and low for shoes I could tolerate on my heel because of insertional Achilles tendinopathy, I purchased HyperSoft shoes. I love them and ordered more. But they have few color choices and are having long shipping delays. In the meantime I found these in Amazon and knew I could get them quickly. My first order was too short. I went a size up and they fit “like a glove”. They are lightweight, have good arch support, and are almost identical to the more expensive HyperSoft shoes. Almost……The big difference is in the heel structure. The heel is sick like at the top/ankle. However it has a harder heel counter lower in the heel that I couldn’t tolerate on my Achilles. I’m unsure of the heel drop but I would guess it’s at least 8-10mm. Similar if not exactly the same as Hypersofts shoes. 99% of wearers would think it’s soft and pliant. But I had to return them as I really needed NO harder material in heel counter.

I have issues with my arches and heels (I walk a lot), and these shoes fit great for hours. I wouldn't call these walking shoes however...at least, not for me. The soles are hard molded, no giving which limits the time I wear them...but there is traction (which is great for not slipping). I wear them when I go out shopping or for a meal - I love the lightness of them, plus they give you a little extra height;)

These shoes are nice to look at, and fairly comfortable. I do get a bit of soreness after wearing them all day, however. I like the style and the fact that they don't have any strings. They fit well once they're on; just a bit tight, but based on another pair I bought several years ago, they will loosen significantly over time.

I have a closet full of shoes - some expensive, some not, but pretty much all of them unworn after awhile, because they aren't comfortable for very long. I finally found a keeper! I have very wide feet, hammer toes, big ankles and very tender feet that never recovered from bunion surgery. With these shoes, I was able to walk around San Francisco with just a couple corn pads and not be in excruciating pain at the end of the day. With my wide ankles, it takes a bit of doing to get these shoes on, but once I do, they are comfortable everywhere. Lots of ankle support so my feet stay put but give me toes wiggle room. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual to give my toes the room they need. There is also room for orthotics. Not only are they comfortable, they are attractive and very well made.

I bought this on impulse because I thought I could pull them on like socks. I wanted something that would slip on with little fuss. However, the top is firmer than that, and I need to pull & stick fingers in behind my heels and it's almost as hard as the canvas shoes I have with elastic over the top. For them, I need a shoe horn. They are also not socks all the way through. The bottom is a regular bottom with a thin layer of something resembling the exterior glued on top of a liner that can slip out. It was also a little bumpy and made the bottom of my feet sweaty. I may have to wear thin socks with these. On the other hand I like their looks & they are comfortable enough, and a tad easier to pull on than the canvas slipons which have an elastic top. I'm keeping them for those reasons.

I like them because I have a bursa sac on my Achilles tendon and it is to tender to wear regular sneakers. Also, the height of the heel is a perfect angle for me. I only wish they had a finger hold on back to help slip onto my heel
