I did opt to return this one and keep a different dress (bought several to choose one). Pros: + Thick, high quality knit fabric. And the vibrant red is gorgeous. + Well made. No visible flaws in hems, stitching, etc. + Good fit (I bought based on the measurements, which meant I bought a size larger than my typical size worn). It is body hugging, as promised, but I think the knit fabric was thick enough to hide well any support garments you’d choose to wear underneath to feel smoothed. I probably would need a touch more confidence than I have to pull it off, though. + Cut to wear with a normal bra! Hallelujah! + Comfortable. Nothing scratchy like sequins or beads. + Plenty long for my 5’10” frame. It skimmed the ground with me barefoot. + Excellent value for the price! Con: - Several styling choices for details made this dress seem less fancy up close than I expected based on the pictures. I don’t think this suites for a black tie event. For instance, the exposed surged edges along the ruffles, and the thick seam cover along the top seam of the bodice reminiscent of a dry-wick workout shirt style. PLEASE NOTE that I think these details would not have even occurred to me with the black dress as black blends everything visually so well, but I ordered the red and those things stood out to me. Even though I did return this dress, I will not hesitate to buy this (likely in black due to my one con) again in the future if I have a dressy-but-not-formal occasion for it.

I loved that the dress was floor length, it rained that day and my dress dragged the ground( hated that part) but all together it was a hit!!!! True to size!!! Shoulder area was a little big for my liking but the dress was gorgeous!!!!

I bought this for a cruise in December. Took it out last night to try it on and it was USED! Stains on the back, no tags, thrown into the bag, wrinkled, and smelled. Really disappointed as I thought by all the good reviews I’d get a fabulous dress. Instead I got garbage.
