These jellies start to tear. It starts tearing from the side that leads to the middle strap. The middle strap that hold the ones coming from the side. It was 1989 and I had a pair of clear with silver sparkles jelly shoes. They smelled like plastic and made my feet sweaty. I loved them. These are not sweaty. It must be the fisherman sandals design, but it's NOT like the jellies of our youth, friends! These sandals have been a huge hit every time I wear them. I got the gold, kinda champagne, so cute and works with almost my whole closet. I followed the size guide, worked great for me. I'm a true 7.5 in shoes, an 8 in boots to accommodate a high instep.
