I purchased this originally because I needed a bag that was safe & could carry everything that I need when I go out. Due to health issues, I travel in an electric Powerchair. I need a bag that has spots for a drink, my phone, umbrella, pens/markers, my wallet, a planner, a notebook (or 3 of various sizes,) my blood kit for testing my blood sugar, a case with some medications, as well as an additional 1 for the small amount of makeup I sometimes wear, sunglasses, my cellphone, a charger, hard candy for when sugar drops too low, sometimes my Amazon Fire HD, & a black-paper sketchbook or small Mandela coloring book. As well as anything else I might need. This only changes during spring/summer &/or Fall/winter. I chose the Burgundy color because my 3 favorite colors are Crimson Red, Green and Purple. So the burgundy that is this one to me is brighter than most "wine-reds" for which burgundy would fall under. This is closer to the crimson color, that I love, in my opinion. When I received it, I immediately opened it, because I wanted to see if there was an obnoxious odor they way some reviewers claimed. It wasn't fishy or terribly off-putting but a quick spray of my essential oil room spray I make; fixed it right up. Now when I open it, I'm smelling tangerine & Cinnamon bark. It's VERY LARGE inside, I was sure to include as many pictures to show you the different items I might carry when I leave my apartment for doctors appointments. On those days, I take public transportation in the form of "TARPS" which is a smaller bus in length only that takes me to and from appointments. Which is the reason I need to carry medicine, a drink, an umbrella, a notebook for keeping track of important things from an appointment w/ a doctor but also something I can read, watch a show, listen to an audio book and/or create or color something fun AND ALL OF THAT needs to be with me when I leave my apartment. I could be at the location of my appointment for hours because I have to give TARPS 1.5 hrs of time ahead of my actual appointment w/ my doctor for travel (both ways.) I find that even if this purse is on my back when I'm doing very short distances with a cane, once it's on my back, it's a balanced weight and doesn't hurt my shoulders. Both of which have torn rotator cuffs & normally can't handle anything over 4lbs. But my purse on regular doctor days is definitely weighing more than that as you can tell. I usually carry my bag at my feet, sitting on the foot-plate. I love the security features, such as the bigger zipped space that can only be gotten to from the inside, where most people would have that facing their back. I feel doubly safe when I am strapping it to the back of my chair. Using a small bungee cable; it allows no one to try to steal it. Those days, I don't carry my cell in the outside pockets though. I ordered the burgundy color which is vegan leather and has been rained on & yet still looks brand new. I'm taking a vacation in November with family & friends so I will be purchasing the same brand but the smaller size and probably will purchase one in a more neutral color (black, brown or navy.) I want to carry just enough to attend dinner without having to constantly take out ALL THE EXTRA that I leave my house with normally. The neutral color will allow it to be paired with any outfit. I like to dress up, for a nice dinner without my bag jingling or looking like a small suitcase. Everything the company mentioned when describing this purse was, in my opinion completely true. I haven't had a chance to use this bag yet but wanted to add photos. I plan to use it as a carry on and day bag on an upcoming trip to Italy. The main appeal to me is the zipper closure against the back to deter pickpockets. I packed it with: a compression packing cube with a spare set of clothes; wireless over the ear headphones; a packing cube with small odds and ends like spare charger, eye mask etc; and an inflatable foot rest (for the plane ride). There is still room at the top for more. Packed like this it weighs 6lbs. The outer side pockets don't really have any stretch to them and with the inside packed, you really can't fit a water bottle in them. I hope the straps are comfortable. I usually use a crossbody bag so will see how this goes. This is the large version. ... show more

I was looking for a bag I could use as a purse and also as a bag to store clothes when I change for work every day so I wouldn’t have to carry 2 separate bags. I bought the medium size but wish I would’ve gotten the large size as I can’t really fit clothing in the medium size beyond a tshirt and shorts or leggings. The medium size is great for everyday use like a purse but I’m giving it a 4/5 instead of 5/5 because it doesn’t have internal pockets so it’s just a big open space for all of your belongings. It does have one very small zipper pocket inside that barely fits my small wallet so I wish that was bigger. The color was exactly as pictured and so far the material has held up. Sometimes faux leather seems to peel after a while but I haven’t noticed this happening. ... show more

Yall, I bought the navy (the gray was beautiful also, but I was trying to be sensible with a darker color). I loved it so much I went back and bought the black, which is a chic alternative to the more casual navy. (I took off the top strap on both, because I didn't need it. I like the option of buying a fun shoulder strap for a different look if I wanted.) I cannot rave enough about this bag. I bought Large for both of them, because I'll primarily use them as travel backpacks. While I don't plan on weighing them down, it's nice to have extra room for any additional purchases and things like that. Went to crowded markets in India and felt so, SO secure. While no one can access the main part of the backpack from the front, the full U shape zip facing your back allows you to easily access the inside of the bag when you need to without taking the whole thing off. I do wish the straps were more supported (another reason I wouldn't weigh it down), but for full-day sightseeing trips, it was perfect! I found this backpack for an upcoming trip while looking through the luxury section of handbags. I had already bought an inexpensive, canvas bag, but wasn't pleased with it. The real leather name bags were too much for me so I checked the regular handbag section for something similar. Most were ordinary, but serviceable and more economical. Then I saw a backpack in 2 tones (same bag with both colors) so I searched on until I saw mine in 3 colors that looks so professional, but reasonable. I have made it my everyday bag since it came mainly because I've been on a walker due to a kneecap break 7 mos. ago. Shopping around my area or out of town, I can carry all I need to in this large bag. It comes in a medium and a large as well as other color combinations. The front outside is made to face away from the body and only has one small horizontal pocket. For safety I've put somewhat unimportant items in there. The rest I put on the backside that is up against my body when worn as a backpack. In addition to the straps to wear as a backpack, it also has a shoulder strap and a short handle on top to grab it up by to go. Being artificial leather, I can just wipe it off or clean it with something mild plus not having to worry about it getting something permanent on it.
