Very shiny/weird texture, not like other kanekalon hair I've ordered. Refuses to form dreads, breaks easily, just sheds everywhere. Tried using it for braids instead and it felt like tarp cord. I've bought packs of kanekalon from different sellers and this was, by far, the worst I've purchased.

Suppper silky, and not in a good way. I bought 3 packs to use for braids with COVID closing the beauty supply stores near me. This hair is way too silky for the box braids I wanted. It slips and is hard to grip. Gel has helped, but I like to just moisturizer my hair and go. Definitely meant for someone more patient than me. ... show more

When I first began to braid my hair, I didn’t realize there was different textures of braiding hair.. I’m pretty familiar with what will be “good” hair and not by now. This hair was cheap in price YES! BUT it doesn’t stay sealed.. I had to put a rubber band at the end 😵💫 not cute.. luckily it’s black so you can’t really tell and I kept my braids in a bun so it wasn’t the biggest deal. That’s the hard thing about buying different braiding hair on Amazon, you don’t know the texture until you get it. I’ve bought the same brand more than once and received different textures (not this particular brand) it’s cheap in price and soft. Just not exactly what I was looking for. I'm sooooo happy! I had ordered from another company/brand that couldn't come through with the color I wanted. I was devastated because I wanted to be Beetlejuice for my company office party. So I went on a limb and ordered from this awesome place. They cane through for me and I ordered 3 packs of 3 because I wasnt sure how thick it'd be, how much would be in each bundle, or how much I would actually need. At my go to beauty supply place I pay about $3.99 for 1 pack of hair. So for me this was a good bargain. My 14 yr old chose these 2 colors for her braids. I gave it 4 stars only because (like others said in their reviews) the hair is sort of silky & slippery which makes it hard to get a good grip on.
