First of all, I am fairly tall. In my younger years, I had to sew all of my pants because those that I sought in the stores were always too short. Not only do these have the wider legs, but they have the longer length; actually, longer than I need, but I turn them up four inches and hem them by hand, then turn them halfway to form a cuff which I tack down at the seams. I have had so many compliments on my wide-legged, cuffed pants which, to many of my generation, are reminiscent of those we wore in the 1970s--and, those, too, were very comfortable. They go very well with the current tunic tops and platform shoes--also staples of the 1970s fashion look. (Larger ladies, like myself, do not always look good in skin-tight jeans or leggings, in my casual observance.) Appreciated, too, are the deep pockets, because I have large hands; seldom do women's pants have deep enough pockets for holding things like keys and cell phones without them falling out, or for the colder months. I am delighted by the color choices, and await the comeback (hopefully) of the fall and winter jewel tones such as red, purple, and dark green which were featured before. I have these stretchable pants in three colors, now, and they have worn very well without too much fading (cold water is best). ... show more

Very nice stretch jean. Not sure I would call this a wide leg or perhaps my legs are just too wide! It fits well but is not as loose in the leg as I had hoped. I was considering going up a size but the top part, waist and hips, fits really well and sizing up would probably cause it to bag/sag/gap in the waist. They fit and feel a lot like jeggings just not tight on the calves. ... show more

I absolutely love the comfort of these wide leg pants. I am overweight and although skinny pants were in style, I never found them comfortable or flattering. These pants truly are "STRAIGHT leg" pants that don't cut in at the ankle. I can wear boots and the pant leg can be drawn down over the top of the boots rather than trying to stuff the calves of skinny jeans/pants into the boot (and I don't end up with a wrinkled pant leg when I get to where I'm going and switch to shoes). Unlike skinny jeans/pants I also don't have to keep pulling them down when they ride up my calf. I think they are much more sensible and easier to live with. ... show more

The jeans are okay, and I'm keeping them. The fabric is on the thin side, they provide zero support. They aren't kidding when they say wide-leg. The color is good, a rich dark blue. The pockets are fabulous, nice and deep.

If you are short, don’t waste your time with these pants. When I pulled them on, they were so much too long that my entire foot was standing on the extra pant length. I’m about 5’4”. If I could pull these pants up high enough to cover my boobs they’d have been about the right length. This is my second or third failed attempt to purchase clothes that fit from this brand. Love these. Very comfortable. Wide legs. Look very flattering. I sized up to have the waist elastic a little looser and more comfortable just as I like. Still looked good on me at larger size. Highly recommended!
