  • The most durable and comfortable
Size: 10 X-Wide Color: Brown/Black
These are the most durable boots I have. I've had them since 2015 an still kicking in 2024 wanted to get something similar but wasn't going to until I did some research and it brought me back to these. They run half size big but are totally comfortable when you downsize.

  • Great fit, comfy.
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Black
Our son needed a new set of work boots, so we bought him these. These are his second pair of these because he wore out the first pair. He inherited his grandfather's "weird" feet so our son has always been difficult to fit for shoes. He loves these and so far have been helpful on his job where he is on his feet a lot. ... show more

  • Excellent Boot
Size: 8 Color: Brown/Black
I have used Wolverine boots for many years now. The quality vs price range is very good. I just bought a new pair to replace the pair I purchased back in 2021 from the same seller.

  • Squeaky Boots
After 9 months of daily use for work the seams have completely worn out. I cannot recommend as these boots have always had a squeak while walking.

  • So far, so good.
Size: 12 Color: Brown/Black
So far, I've had these for about three weeks and used them in conditions that would have obliterated my normal shoes. These boots are still fine. I was a little weary given the price, but I did my research before buying and they seem to live up to the reputation. As far as comfort goes, they are as broken-in as they will get. That took about twelve hours of wear. The fit still seems to be changing a bit, so we'll see how that pans out. They're a little bigger than a typical 12 I think: it's unnoticeable with thick socks, but I would prefer my shoes be snug with thick socks than loose with thin ones. Even so, I have worn them continuously for about six hours on two separate occasions and never even got a hotspot much less a blister, so it isn't that bad. More time will tell whether they end up fitting completely. You WILL NEED in-soles with these - not necessarily prescription, just something to fill the bottom - or they will not fit at all. I'm pretty sure they are designed that way but be aware of it. This is my first pair of specific hiking boots, so maybe they're usually that way...? The laces seem to be nice, but like most laces they are not fun to untie if they get soaked (or I'm assuming frozen). I'll end up replacing them with nylon eventually, but in the meantime it's nothing the hook on my Victorinox can't handle. A number of times I've found myself moving in a way that would definitely have injured my ankle in, say, sneakers, but these boots give great ankle support and I have not had an injury yet. They grip pretty well, and my ice chains fit. They are also waterproof as advertised - I have walked through more than enough bogs and creeks to be sure. As a real test, I used them to scale the rocks of a waterfall in the area (roughly a half-hour journey each way and rather treacherous) and they handled it beautifully. I still slipped around on a few of the slick rocks, but that's not surprising. I never went into the drink though, nor did I strain or twist my ankle. I'll post updates as time goes on. ... show more

  • The quality of these boots has dropped dramatically.
Size: 13 Color: Brown/Black
This review will mostly be based off of my experience with the same exact model boot. I bought my first pair of these boots in 2014 and loved them, because they were durable, waterproof, and comfortable. My first pair lasted 3 years. It is clear that this company is no longer interested in making quality boots. I have used these boots 5-6 days a week for the past three months. The first day of wearing the new boots, my feet got soaked from morning dew in grass even though they are supposed to be waterproof. The previous pair I had remained waterproof until the leather cracked open after 2 years and I could step into ankle deep water and it would not be an issue prior to that. One month into wearing the new boots both of the laces broke on the same day in different places. The laces on the old pair lasted 3 years. The fabric on the side of one of the boots started ripping 2 weeks into wearing them. The fabric never tore on the old boots. The leather around the toe of the new boots has started to fade and crack. The tread is wearing down much faster than the previous pair. The tongue is not long enough and if you lace the shoestrings through the top hooks, the laces will be rubbing against your ankle most of the day. The new boots are still comfortable apart from the laces rubbing my ankle, but almost completely useless if used outside. It was a complete waste of money and the newer boots are in worse condition then the old boots were when I threw them away. ... show more

  • Been wearing these for years... Great hiking/walking boot.
Size: 8.5 Color: Brown/Black
These make very good 'terrain walking shoes.' Gravel roads trails, through the woods, and even city walking, etc. they are very good, and I would think even for light backpackingThey stand up very well to this kind of use. I use off-the-shelf full length orthotics for added arch support as I pronate a bit, but the factory insoles are comfortable, and it is easy to switch. They are waterproof and the 'nubuck leather' (which is real leather- check Google or Wiki) wears well. But what these are not is rough-work boots. Gardening and yard work is fine, but they do not stand up as well digging ditches and such The toe bumper is stitched to the nubuck toe box, and once these threads are compromised through wear and friction, the toe box begins to come apart. Don't get me wrong. I really like these boots for the price. So much so I just bought two pair (numbers 3 and 4 over the years). But these are now dedicated to be just for walking and hiking, taking the dog for a walk and such. And speaking of dog walks, the traction is good on pavement and tarmac. I can testify to that as my big male German Shepherd has given me the opportunity to test them in regards to their holding power! ... show more
