My apartment is a little bit under 600 sq ft and I needed to replace the coffee table I had because--while solid, sturdy, and free--it was taking up too much space. Plus, with working from home, the lift top option appealed to me for those days I just want to be on the couch with my laptop. This was very easy to assemble, though the screws that go into the base make it evident that this is manufactured wood that will only have so much of a life. For now, the option is great. The lift top works well and holds, though with how light the table is you need to be cautious; if you lean too hard on the lift top while it's up, it will topple. The table legs are also plastic, which look like but I was a bit bummed that they weren't something sturdier. The felt bottoms also came off the legs immediately as my living room rug that the table sits on is shaggier. I'll need to find something better as the plastic legs do slide easily. Overall, I'm satisfied, and also happy with how the greige color also complements existing furniture I had. ... show more

We have a small 1 bedroom apartment so storage is key for us and this coffee table met all of our marks. The lift up desk area is perfect to house video games, controllers, random clutter you need but can’t find a place for etc. it has helped declutter our house a lot. The lift up desk is perfect for a cozy work from home setup when you don’t have room for an entire office. The assembly seemed pretty easy my partner put it together in about an hour maybe a little more. It shows using a drill in the video but I would just use a screw driver as the wood is very thin and could crack really easily. ... show more

I love this table. It's sturdy, the top that lifts up is awesome and has soft close. My 1 year old climbs all over it and it's holding up to that, so thumbs up. Some of the instruction photos were hard to understand.

The whole thing took me about an hour and a half to put together. All the pieces are clearly marked, and they give you plenty of extra pieces just in case. It looks great, and I love having a top that flips up, so that I can eat my cereal while watching TV. My only minor complaint is that as I was screwing in one of the screws that holds the bottom piece on, it chipped the wooden veneer. However, I was able to use one of the wooden sticker decals to cover it up, and it’s barely noticeable. I’m looking forward to keeping this great little table for years to come! ... show more

Had this for a couple of weeks now. It looks nice, was fairly easy to put together, and seems to be well made. For the price I paid (around $90.00) I’m very happy with it. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Listen. This is not going to be a family heirloom, but it was a reasonable price and suits our needs. Assembly wasn't hard. My son had it together well w/in an hour. Sturdy enough for drinks or a 15 lb cat that must test out new furniture. It holds my laptop well.

This is a composite board, but a pretty great table for the price. The assembly instructions were very detailed so I found it easy to put together. The only warning I have is that the corners of this table are crazy sharp. My husband had cut his ankle a few times already.
