Ok so I was able to assemble this in about an hour and a half by myself. The instructions were extremely simple to follow and understand. I’m only rating it a 4.5 because one of the pieces was chipped and the wood was a little damaged, luckily where the damage was is not visible once assembled. This is a beautiful coffee table for the price. Relatively simple to assemble. I did it by myself in less than an hour. However, it arrived damaged. If I had been home during delivery, I would not have accepted the item. It was as though someone hit box very hard with a heavy object. Two of the thinner pieces were damaged and another scratched. It was not the easiest to assemble but I did it and i am so happy with my purchase, i have it 2 feet from my sofa and when i open it for whatever reason to use while seating, it comes right up close to me. no need to have a table so close to the sofa and not enough room to walk around there. Not going to lie, it did take some time to assemble primarily by myself. The end product however is great. Since the table top extends, I have it open towards the couch so I can use it as a computer desk. Saves me extra money on a regular computer desk for now.
