Bought this for my wife, who's 5'4", and the medium fit her really well. The construction feels solid for what it is, the stitching and materials seem like they'll hold up for a few Halloweens or costume parties rather than falling apart after one wear, which is what I usually worry about with costumes at this price. The set is nice and complete too, with the hat, green gloves, and tights all included, so there was nothing extra to track down. My daughter LOVES the Wicked series and LOVES Halloween. So when I saw this, I knew shew would love it (she does...). The costume is well constructed and closely resembles the Elphaba character, especially the hat. I will evaluate each component separately: ++ The hat - The best part. It is light/airy so it doesn't make your head hot. It comes in a flat package and has one of those metal rims that pops up when you untwist it. Very clever! +/- The gloves - They fit well and are of pretty good quality. But the nails are glued onto the fingertips so they aren't very stable. But still very clever. You will need to remove the gloves if you need dexterity. +/- The dress - Well constructed with solid seams and an invisible zipper. But there is no stretch to the fabric so it cuts in/binds. Also, it runs small. There is no sizing chart (she typically wears mediums) so I sized up...just in case. But not enough. I would say that the L is the equivalent of a size 8 or 10. But even then, the lack of stretch could make it uncomfortable. Look for the red edits in the pictures to see where it binds. ? - the tights. We didn't try those on. It was 100 degrees out in July...so another day....in October. Overall, we still LOVE this costume. I will adjust the sizing and provide some flexibility by installing stretch fabric panels along the under arm and side seems. I would definitely purchase this again. But size up. ... show more

Costume reminds me of the Wizard of Oz or Wicked. This definitely is more of a costume material, meaning it isn't going to be super durable for the long run. The zipper got stuck on a loose thread, but I was able to release it after a moment. The hat is quite nice and comes folded, and the brim is conveniently flexible for storing. The dress fit fine although it is tight in a few places, so I would recommend a size up for sure. The dress is nice quality, and surprisingly it has actual buttons. That is a plus over some other costumes. The fabric is pretty rugged, and not very stretchy, so keep that in mind. The gloves had the nails attached which I have not encountered before, although it does make sense. Overall a decent witch costume for Halloween or similar event. However, overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side for the quality. ... show more

The costume is nice and the sizing is accurate based on the chart. I am 5’8” and 160 lbs and normally wear a size 10. But I needed an XL based on the chart and it fits great. The dress is long- it hits just at my ankles despite my height. It has nice details, real buttons, gloves with the black nails are a nice touch. The hat is also really nicely made but I will need to figure out how to secure it to my hair It cones with green nylon tights which I think will not last more than one year but I plan to get striped knee highs instead. The zipper on the dress and the seams are on the cheap side but it is a costume worn once a year so just be careful zipping the dress Overall nicer than I expected. ... show more

What an awesome costume! It totally has wicked witch vibes and feels really good! Great quality items and materials that feel like the real deal. The gloves have a nice look and fit and the hat is the bread and butter. Overall this costume is top notch!
