Adapter does not hold up
Bought these adapters 3 years ago and they have cracked and had to trash them. Made of plastic.

The rail mount didn't fit the rails on my sun tracker pontoon boat. I ended up drilling holes through the rail to mount the rod holder. These were no help at all.

I fish for salmon and do not recommend these for larger game fish
They were the right size as promised but they are not strong at all. The plastic is too weak to torque the screw and nut down tight enough for them not to rotate under pressure. I fish for salmon and do not recommend these for larger game fish. If you are just catching panfish or trout these would work great.

Stays put!
Have used these to mount six rod holders on pontoon boat railings. Will need to provide your own bolts - nuts - washers to mount. Holds position when 21lb catfish strikes.
