I'm quite happy with this purchase. It's a really lovely little cabinet, which drew me to it originally. Once it arrived it took me about 10 mins to get out of the box (it's packaged pretty air-tight, cardboard wise) and a half hour to get it secured to the wall--it seems I've finally paid my dues and figured out how to install wall anchors correctly the first time. No instructions--I like to have a suggested drill size for the wall anchors, I guessed 1/4" and that worked--just be sure to tap the anchors in rather than pounding otherwise I could see the teeth breaking off in the process. There are 2 keys, 4 screws, and 4 anchors included with the cabinet, so there's no tolerance if you damage an anchor. That being said, they're pretty standard so your local hardware store should have replacements if you break one. The back side of the magnet strip on the glass door had little marks, indicated by the blue arrow in my photos. Personally, I don't mind this, but I figured I could help discourage anyone that would be annoyed by them by including them in the review. And finally my one suggestion for the design: lack of adjustment regarding shelf spacing. I included a photo w/ the too-tall Nyquil bottle set atop the cabinet to show it won't fit inside standing up. Admittedly, this is a minor issue. I know the non-adjustable shelves were likely a forced decision because the type/style of metal cabinet. However, if you'll be using the cabinet for "general" medicinal use rather than "prescribed" medicine, it's of use to mention here. Final thoughts: Great, quality cabinet. First one was damaged. I requested a refund. Seller offered to send a replacement, and for me to dispose of the original one. Second one was fine. they responded favorably to the problem.

    • Overpackaging
When I got this product, the fact that the shelves were not movable was a disappointment, but the meds I needed to lock fit. The major problem was that the product came in not one, not two, but three boxes. Also, there were plastic pieces to protect the corner parts of the glass front, and the cabinet was impossible to open at first. Finally, I stuck a pencil through one of the holes for the screws to attach the cabinet to the wall to push the door open from the back. This allowed me access to the keys, and the hardware to attach the cabinet to the wall. But, without thinking of an alternate way to get into the cabinet, it would have been impossible to open at first. ... show more

Great product and works well. I just wish it was a bit bigger and less expensive, but it works great. We are foster parents and had to lock all medication up, so it serves the purpose, but we had to get three locking cabinets because they don't make one large enough.

This is really cool looking. It was super easy to hang up, but the anchors weren't very good so we used our own. The drawback is that the shelves are not adjustable and can't be removed, but it does look nice. It wasn't expensive at all, though I would have paid a little more for one that was as tall but wider. They have other sizes but they weren't really what I was looking for. I might actually order a second one to put next to it for more storage ... show more

Well made and sturdy (Made in Germany). Frame is made from light weight medal. The lock is easily turned and the shelves fit a good amount (we just have way too much stuff we are hoarding lol). The width is perfect to hide behind the door and be not in the way. Highly recommend with a toddler in the house.
