I have used 16gauge for many years just because they are more durable. Once in a while, for kicks, i use 17gauge. After 3 or 4 years of 16, last month I got my rackets strung with the 17. I did notice the improved bite on the ball and more feel in the racket as though the strings were pocketing the ball deeper. At first, I was using my friend’s 16 gauge reel n found that I liked it. However I wanted more feel so I bought my own reel of 17 gauge. It’s even better, only problem is they fray pretty quickly. This is after abt 1 month of play, 3x a week.

Nice string , BUT for me next time is a no go.. for somebody that plays a lot that is not an average level like people that play almost everyday it is not durable in my opinion. it only lasted 2 weeks tops and snapped. Good string , lovely feel tho but will look for something else ..

These strings are ideal for players with arm, wrist, or shoulder issues. Much gentler than many of the other strings available. I usually string at around 50. The black version in this model works great too.

I've tried many different strings in my years of playing tennis. Some more expensive and some less expensive than the NXT, but this has consistently been my favorite. Great feel, power and control. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long.
