    • Thin but surprisingly tough...
Okay. I bought this tape because my fingers must have been swollen the day I got my last ball drilled and the finger inserts where way too big a few days later. I cut this tape just wide enough (about an inch) to put around my fingers. The first surprise was how thin it is, which is good actually because it's easier to get the desired thickness. The second surprise was how durable it is. The last time I used it, I got lazy and left it on and forgot about it. Well, did dishes, slept with it on, and took a shower in the morning and guess what--still in place and going strong. Does the trick, and feels very comfortable on. A+++++ ... show more

It had been over 5 years since ordering the 'silver tape' that I was looking for. It turns out that I needed the 'silver tape' Bio-skin from VISE Bowling Products. When I saw the Storm Product, described as 'silver', I thought to myself, "OK, that's the one I need". Nope, that's not it. It was the 'silver' description that fooled me. It's actually a gray color and much tackier than the VISE Bio-skin in the silver color. The general quality of the Storm tape is not in question, although I have yet to use it. It is rather tacky, though, and would NOT be advised for used on the thumb. ... show more

Since my hands are a little weaker than they used to be, I have a hard time hanging onto my bowling ball sometimes it slips. These tape strips I made work wonderfully and don’t take up too much room inside the holes on my bowling ball.

    • Great tape... Just didn't work for me.
I wanted to love this tape but it did not work for me. I contribute this to 3 things. 1. I am a heavy sweater. The tape stuck to the inserts... To well. Slipped of my finger and tape from both fingers went down the lane. 2. I use clear inserts. They are "gummier" and tackier. 3. This tape is thicker than competitors. My understanding is storm only has this option. I ended up going with a competitors tape and it worked better for ME! I believe this could be a great product for someone who isn't as sweater, doesn't have clear(vacuum grip style) inserts. If this review helps you, please press the helpful button. This product is WONDERFUL... It replaces that goey stuff I had to put on my fingers to hold the ball. That goey stuff worked, but messed up the surface of the ball and was hard to clean off. Also, the USBC outlawed, in sanctioned leagues, anything on your hands, like the goey stuff. This tape is AWESOME... ... show more
