  • Best wedge for the money
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 52-degrees Style Name: Gap Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
At half the price of similar clubs it's a bargain! They are well made and balanced nicely. Over the years I have had several sets of these clubs, and they perform well. Every now and then Wilson will offer the set of three wedges for the price of one more expensive single wedge.

  • Decent wedge
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 56-degrees Style Name: Sand Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
I have wilson wedges in 52, 56, and 60. They work great and price is there for budget golfers. 4 start because the 56 sent to me was badly scrapped. Like someone hit it against pavement or something. Luckily Amazon support was nice enough to replace.

  • Beautiful wedge, great price
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 60-degrees Style Name: Lob Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
I bought all four. The 52 degree will replace my 100-110 yard club. The 56 goes about 90. The 60 , perfect in the grass near green, 70 yards and closer. I'll be working with the 60 and 64 in the bunkers, to see which is best for me. When I see the Wilson label, it breeds confidence. My first clubs I started with, Wilson, 35 years ago. Hitting the new Wilson D9 woods, it shocked me how good they are. So I added the new Wilson Dynapower forged irons, Dynapower driver, and now these wedges. Everything in the bag is now Wilson, except the putter. Wilson is back! ... show more

  • Awesome club at a great price
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 60-degrees Style Name: Lob Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
My son who is rather new to golf wanted a lob wedge so I grabbed this on the cheap not expecting too much. Wow, I'm really impressed -- it's actually nicer that mine! Perfectly weighted, nice finish on the face, and excellent grip. Score!

  • What A Wedge
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 52-degrees Style Name: Gap Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
Update 6/2/2022 CHECK THE LOFTS! I normally hit a 52 degree wedge between 110-120 yards, but this one I struggled to hit it over 95 yards unless I hit the ball thin. I checked the loft and the 52 degree is bent at 58 degrees. I checked the other 56 degree and 60 degree Wilson wedges I have and they were off about a degree. Cheap wedges don’t have accurate lofts I suppose I have not played high dollar wedges before, but my short game has always been pretty good. Chip/Lob shots around the green are definitely the best part of my game, but I've never been able to get myself to fork over $150 per wedge for the high end stuff. Years ago when my wife inherited a set of older clubs, there was a Wilson harmonized sole grind 60 degree wedge in the bag. I thought it looked nice enough so I took it on the short par 3 hole I live on to chip around a bit. You can imagine my surprise as all 5 shots I took were well within 5 feet of the hole. The next day I ordered a 52,56, and 60 degree Wilson wedge for my bag. I didn't care for the grips so I swapped in some golf pride CP2 Pro grips and the wedges feel like butter. On my simulator, I can see as much as 10,500 rpm of spin on higher lofted shots, so the ball gets quite a bit of back spin on the greens. The club faces are a little on the rough side, so you'll notice some of the ball leaving residue on the faces. These wedges are weighted very nicely, and they are easily some of the most forgiving wedges I've ever played. In my last round alone, I almost made 3 chip in's from 60 yards out. Overall, unless you are an extremely good golfer, scratch or very low handicap, these wedges will work well in your bag. I know the high dollar wedges must be nice, but there's no way they can be $140 per wedge nicer than these Wilsons ... show more

  • Definitely worth the price and a fine club for newbys and occasional golfers
Hand Orientation: Right Size: 52-degrees Style Name: Gap Wedge Shaft Style Type: Steel
If you want to pay $150 for a Wilson wedge, you can. But, if you aren't really good enough to benefit from it and don't use 3-piece urethane balls, then this is a good deal. It is shiny and new and worth it. A beginner, a kid or three, or even dad at the range on Saturday will not feel that the price means a useless and inferior club. Not at all. This is not to say, repeating, that it is a customized Vokey or Macdaddy etc. If you want one of those, buy one three years old with the grooves in good shape for under $100 and get a feeling for the premium wedge. Amateur and occasional golfer avoid chipping and putting practice so they pick up strokes around and on the green. It's not a hard part of the game. It is a PERCENTAGE part, so you reduce bad shots by...ta-DAH!! PRAK-TISS. You can practice wedges anywhere including foam balls in the house. Nothing will swell you with pride more than a yellow, foam ball in the marinara sauce. Don't be afraid to buy it, try it, and of course there are all kinds of guarantees. Plus, Wilson used to be THE wedge of choice on tour way back when dinosaurs stalked the course. They are back both with clubs and balls. But there are other great brands now sitting on the top arch of the rainbow, so Wilson has its work cut out for it. I respect them for making a 'cheap' wedge which is cheap in price only, not skimping on essentials but also not a high end forged wedge at three times the cost. ... show more
