I love how these save me from purchasing over and over their bags. They just require some patience as you learn how to use them and wash. They are challenging to wash and I have had to buy other brushes to clean them well. One negative is you can’t use the rinse and refrigerate between pumping sessions trick with these like you can other pumps. They really need to be dry to use again. So I bought 2 sets for my 2 pump seasions and wash them well with soap and water each night, and boil them once a week.

When they say “it’s a learning curve”, don’t get fooled. It’s a poorly engineered and overpriced product. Absolutely not worth it. I needed help because my baby had a hard time latching, it was just supposed to be a transition, and I love my medela but didn’t want to be hooked up while I could spend time with baby. It was so ridiculous that I forced myself and my baby to speed up the transition from bottle to nipple shield faster, blessing in disguise. The practical issue: it doesn’t come with a system where you can pump and store in your own bags, you have to use their bags or buy a separate container so you can pump into and then store the milk in your own bags - so another 40$ spent, because all the money they are charging is not enough to send you another piece of plastic. Their bags are also expensive and faulty. It didn’t matter how well I attached that bag, there were always around 30ml wasted. Always. You can’t pump much, no more than 4oz per side, and then about 20-30% of that will be spilled by their faulty system. The bag is in a weird huge donut shape so hard to store in the freezer too, tons of it is just air. Again - just hype. If I could return it, I would. That’s worse purchase I ever made for baby, worse than a seasonal preemie outfit, worse than a 3rd diaper bag, worse than a 4th set of bottles when I knew we were transitioning to breast… I can keep going. Absolutely don’t be silly like me, don’t buy the hype. Just don’t buy it.

Being an active momma who is often on the road for work and family, I was excited to try the Willow pump but I was quickly disappointed. After going through many of the Willow bags, I decided to try the reusable containers to cut back on waste. At first, they were great! easy to put together and align, did not leak, allowed me to pump on the go, etc. However, the longer I used them, the more trouble I had in making sure they were properly aligned with the pump and the individual pieces were completely flushed (even though I soaked and cleaned them between every use). It became extremely frustrating when flying and there is little space/much you can do to resolve the issue. The app is helping in resolving the issues but I found it overwhelming to have to rely on my phone to get my pump to work. Pros: - Reduces waste when pumping on the go - Easy to pour into bottles or storage containers - The app tells you how much you have pumped and for how long - The app helps troubleshoot issues Cons: - Lots of pieces to clean when traveling - Took up more space when traveling than some of my other portable pumps - Challenging to clean (so that it will work) - Was easy to misalign - I had a lot of issues using these while flying when I needed them most - Required using the app to problem shoot too often Summary: great product in theory but the overall pump set up could use some simplification.

Been using this pump for under one month as I just had my son on Valentine’s Day went to use it to stimulate production and the left pump isn’t suctioning anymore 😞 I’ve cleaned repositioned it everything and nothing worked even purchased the containers so I didn’t have to use bags and still nada battery life is okay sucks you have to charge them one at a time it should have a charging dock for both at the same time for the price of these I am highly disappointed containers with bags still leaked and it should auto suction milk during the pumping process to avoid filling being the flange should be at the bottom so those that produce less milk don’t have to deal with spillage in the beginning because it is liquid gold for our babies
