If you like fuller coverage of your more mature/plumper body, you might not like this. The fabric is thinner and clingier than I realized, and I even ordered a size up. It's a nice style though, so if you're younger and not worrying about love handles, it would be appropriate. The fabric, while thin, is very soft. The color is exactly what I hoped it would be. I'm not huge but sizy (that's less than obese and a step below huge. I bought an XL and thought it would be too small. It fits nicely. I love the neck line. At 61, I don't like most of the choices of necklines of most offered these days. The necklines are Either way to down to the breast or an frumpy necklines. The square is perfect. This sweater is very light weight. However quite a few people that I know keep their homes so warm that I end up sweating. Not like this one. I like the slightly puffy at the shoulders, I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if it's going to shrink or the sleeves and shoulders will lose it's pretty lined. I'm thinking it's going to have to use a sweater lying down rack, but do believe that it should be washed on gentle cycle in the washing machine .
