  • A simple and fast review from a long time spiritual seeker of both Paganism and Christianity...
I don't give a hoot what you call it, I love it. Angelic Witchcraft? Angelic Wicca? Well, whatever it's named... within just a few pages the authors have easily described exactly how I think and feel about reincarnation, the afterlife, and general spiritual practice! I've read more "traditional books" on Wicca and witchcraft over the years and most of them left me feeling like I just did not fit in, (For me Traditional Wicca had too many rules, too traditional, and tended towards strict adherence with old gods I couldn't gel with... or they just flat out hated any type of Christianity at all, and made that very clear from the outset. Ugh.) I'm pleasantly surprised about this book. Finally! Witches who think as I do! If you want a more "white magic or uplifting style of magic" that is a bit more free form, uplifting, flexible, and welcoming, this is your book! If you're curious, give it a read and see what you think. :) ... show more

  • Note I am not wiccan and got this for writing research
So I am writing a book with witches and am using real world wicca as an inspiration which is why i got this book. It was pretty interesting to see into this persons thought process. Although at some points i worry for her mental health. I dropped a star mainly for a problem i see in all wicca books, they lie, they say that their book are truth then also put a disclaimer that you have to believe it and that some things wont come even if you believe it because its not meant to be. basically it gives it's self an out without providing proper explanation. its wishy washy on why something doesnt work, it's either your fault for not believing or fate doesnt want it. ... show more

  • Good Book for Beginners
This is a great book to buy someone who is new to the craft. I've been a practicing witch for a few years now but I did buy two copies of this book. I ordered one for my boyfriend because he's been interested in the craft for awhile now and one for a friend of mine and they both loved the book. It's well written and easy to understand, has beautiful pages along with being in a sturdy hard cover but there are some issues with Christian guilt in this book I found after reading my boyfriend's copy once but all in all it's not as bad as it could of been. The Christian guilt is the only reason why I didn't give this book a five star review. ... show more

  • I'm very happy to have bought this book
I'm very happy to have bought this book! Although I'm not brand new to Wicca, I found a lot of value in reading this information in an organized, concise manner. Many of our favorite Wiccan authors can be kind of verbose and in my experience, don't put a lot of effort into structuring the information in a clear manner. I would recommend this book as THE first book to anyone interested in learning more about Wicca. I'd also recommend it to anyone looking to fill in any gaps or holes in their understanding of practice. It might not be for someone who's actively practiced for a long number or years, but I think there is valuable information in here, even for those who aren't brand new. The pages are nice and thick and the cover is beautifully. It's the most well-made Wicca book I've got and will hold up to being used as a reference. Would love to see more books from this author....perhaps expanding on what is included here. ... show more

  • Beautiful book
Love it came a little scuffed up but I bought it used so it’s not an issue. I haven’t used too many of the spells or anything yet because I’ve been busy but I’ve heard from others they work pretty well.

  • A little contradiction
It was really well written until the last few pages where they started to contradict themselves and tell us to eat animals peacefully.....you can’t actually do that. Animals don’t die peacefully for our consumption. If they didn’t write that I would’ve felt more respect for the book.
