Perfect for dresses or coats. Long enough for them and very easy to put together to hang. Zipper is of good quality

  • Not very rugged
Style: HANGING GARMENT BAG
If you are just going to store seasonal clothing, that is fine. The plastic material is very thin and a bit stiff. I am only storing summer type clothes, not items I use every day during the winter. I feel the bag would not hold up to constant use.

  • Good quality - a little small for us big guys
Style: SHOULDER COVERS S/6
For 35 years, I wore a suit to work every day. As a result, I accumulated a lot of suits. I am now retired, and no longer wear a suit nearly as often. I want to keep the ones I have in good condition, so my wife can bury me in one of them when I croak.... I bought a package of Whitmor shoulder covers, as well as a package of DAZZ canvas shoulder covers to see which ones I prefer. Before I start, I want to make it clear that the package of Whitmor shoulder covers contains six (6) individual covers. Apparently, another brand of vinyl covers sold by Amazon states that there are 12 covers in a package, but in reality there are only three covers that supposedly cover 4 garments each. The Whitmor covers are good quality thick clear vinyl, made in China of course, and they should do the job for which they are intended adequately. Like the DAZZ canvas covers, these covers are a little small for my 46L jackets, but I suspect all brands are too small. These are only big enough to cover one men's sport coat or suit jacket. Women might be able to fit two garments under them. Although they are described as measuring 12" x 22" x 2", that is inaccurate, since there is no depth measurement built in like there is with the DAZZ canvas covers. The two sides are stitched together around the top, so the depth is 0," not 2". When placed over my suit, the width shrinks from an actual 21 inches (not 22 as described) to 20 inches, to accommodate the thickness of the suit. The 12" height is accurate, and the shoulder area is rounded to fit properly. As you can see in my photos, the covers cause the sleeves on my jackets to be slightly squashed inward, but not badly. The same is true with the DAZZ canvas covers. Time will tell whether that will cause wrinkles. I will probably order more of these, since the canvas covers will get dusty with time and have to be washed, but these will only need to be wiped off with a damp cloth. ... show more

  • Great for College Students
Style: 24 POCKET OVER THE DOOR SHOE BAG
My residence hall room isn't the largest compared to other universities and I've been looking for a way to make room in my crammed closet. My shoes were all over the closet floor and I wanted to organize them somehow, but shelves seemed too bulky to me and space consuming themselves. Randomly browsing on Amazon I saw this and decided to give it a shot. I am extremely pleased with the results. My shoes fit perfectly in the pockets (I am female and wear shoe size 7 1/2), and they are all now neatly hidden behind my closet door until I need them. Bam, instant closet floor space I can do something with. * I do have one problem with this product. At my university our closet doors are thick, anti fire, anti tornado, anti break in, lockable vault doors basically. The hooks that came with the organizer may work on "normal" household doors, but my door was far too thick for them (2"). There was no way I could bend those hooks to fit as much as I tried. The problem could easily be solved with small wire command hooks, but it is an inconvenience to go out and buy them, when I already bought this product expecting it to come with all the parts it needed. The makers should have thought more about door widths. I simply did not feel like going out into the rain and getting command hooks so I was cheap and used masking tape. Yes you read that right. I bent the top white part where the hooks go onto the top of the door frame and secured it with masking tape. Even with all of my running shoes, moccasins, and flip flops in place it still (amazingly) shows no sign of falling!! ... show more

  • The flimsiest garment bag I've seen, alas
Style: HANGING GARMENT BAG
I bought three of these, hoping they would be similar to other bags I bought in the past. They are incredibly light and flimsy. The biggest disappointment is the metal frame that holds the bag in shape and hangs the garments. It is very light wire (think of the wire used in cheap laundry shirt hangers) that bends easily. I transferred clothing from one of my current garment bags but had to stop when it was about half full, because the new bag just couldn't handle the weight of the heavy coats. Similarly, the plastic exterior is incredibly thin and lightweight. I was very careful not to stretch or tear it, because I can see that a little abuse and I'll have a hole. I'm sure that a hungry mouse would have no trouble chewing a hole in the plastic. Overall, these bags are a disappointment. They were low-cost, which was good, but I'm sure I'll need to replace them in six months or a year. One of the challenges buying items like this is that the descriptions and photos are all glowing, but without actually knowing the thickness of the materials there's no way to know how it will work in practice. I've given this one three stars because the price is so low -- but you get what you pay for. I need to use two of them to hold what I stored in one better-quality bag, and I have no confidence that it will hold up over time. ... show more

  • IT STINKS!
Style: JUMBO STORAGE BAG
EDIT -- My original one-star review is below. The odor was unacceptable, and I was going to return it, but I left it out in the 90 degree Arizona heat (not in the sun) for almost a week, and the smell seems to be gone, or at least tolerable. I didn't buy this for use as a bag, but a dust cover for a machine I have. I cut the flap off, and it fits fairly well Time will tell if the smell comes back, but I think it's gone. ------------------------------------------------- This thing is made from that horrible chinesium plastic that smells like an oil refinery. I think I got cancer from it already. I put it outside to air out, but it still stinks. I'll probably return it, I can't have this thing stinking up my house. I just wonder what goes through the minds of the people who make and sell this crap. "Oh, yeah (cough cough) it smells to high heaven (cough cough) ... Do you think they will notice? (cough cough) It's probably bad for your health (cough cough) Who cares? Ship it! (cough cough)" ... show more
