A great budget walking shoe for very wide feet that don't need too much support but benefit from a bit of cushioning. I walk for hours in these, and I wanted something passable for going out and socializing in, and these go with a range of outfits. Pros: * Very secure fit. * a good looking shoe compared to barefoot shoes. Does not look clownish. * plenty wide for my pizza shaped feet * I've walked on concrete for hours with these and they feel great. Cons: * sole is a bit stiff compared to altras. * sole is not as grippy in wet conditions as a trail shoe: I wouldn't wear these hiking. * good looking but not GREAT looking. These won't break your look but they won't elevate it either. UPDATE: I keep being blown away by this brand. How other shoe manufacturers haven't managed to make good looking wide toe box shoes like these is beyond me. These are comfortable even when I'm on my feet for hours, that toe box is absolutely perfect. I'm just glad my shoe addiction is to a cheap brand. Whitin, I'm a threepeat customer.

These are extremely comfortable! I have a Morton's neuroma and these shoes are the perfect remedy. Lots of room for my toes without looking sloppy. Very light weight. I love the Whitin brand. I have 3 different styles (barefoot, high tops and these) and 5 different colors now. I walked all over Europe on 2 week vacation and that's the only shoes I wore. I've worn all of them for months now and they wear very well. I've washed them in the machine and air dried with no issues. I wear an 8.5 wide and the 8.5 was perfect. They are designed wide. My feet are so happy!

This is a great back to the basics sneaker. Yet with Whitin you get the wide toebox and zero gravity. Alls good. And comfy. The sole is heavier than the trainers I have so I am looking forward to hitting the street walking. I bought these as a back up just incase a different pair/different brand didnt work out. So glad I did. This is a simple no frills great pair of shoes. Note I seem to go a half size smaller with Whitin. And my toes have plenty of breathing room. I got the blue- its kind of a cross between navy and royal. I like it. Can’t beat the price either. Great value. I may have to follow up after Ive walked a few weeks in them regarding durability.

I bought them in sept of 24 and they are still holding up. There is wear and tear, but they are still comfortable and supportive. The sole is flexible and the toe box is wide, BUT this is NOT a wide shoe in the traditional sense. If you are someone who would typically buy a "wide" this is not the one for you. I wear them on concrete daily and have not had any foot pain as there is enough sole (unlike most wide toe box shoes on the market as they are usually barefoot or minimalist-- which I did not want). ordering a couple pairs in other colors.

These shoes are truly zero drop. And the toe box is wide enough for me. I can comfortably wear my wool toe socks in them and my feet can breathe and are not squished. They do not look like most barefoot, wide toe box shoes. They are cute! Love the black and white. I replace the insoles with Northsole insoles (Legacy-6mm) and it truly make all the difference. These shoes are more comfortable than my Brooks. I stand on concrete floors all day in the pharmacy so I need a bit of cushion. After working a full 8.5 hour shift, my feet aren't sore or tired. My legs don't ache. And most importantly, due to the true zero drop, my lower back does not hurt one bit. My spine stays in alignment. And I noticed several times throughout the day that I didn't feel the need to be constantly shifting my weight from one foot to the other. These deliver exactly what I need. The price point is phenomenal! I've already bought a pair for my parents. I will add more colors, too, because that burgundy pair is screaming my name!

I bought a pair of these in the red color a while back and love them so much! They're comfortable, fit well, and have held up so far. My work boots are wearing out and I wanted to replace them with lighter weight shoes, so I ordered these again in all black. I'm trying to remember how the first pair was packaged, but I'm almost positive they weren't just tossed in a bag with other items like this pair was. They're also definitely a pair that were returned and repackaged without really bothering - one shoe had laces that were sort of tied, the other was completely untied and has white marks and small flecks of dirt on the bottom. I bought these as new, not Used - Like New, so I'm not 100% thrilled with their condition or how they were shipped but I also don't care THAT much as long as the shoes are otherwise in good shape.

Starting with 5 stars based on delivery, packaging, and first try-on. Very lightweight and sturdy. Not a lot of cushioning on the inside but still surprisingly comfortable. Easy to put on and the shoe strings are nice and long. They are true to size and I really appreciate the cushioning around the back of the shoes supporting the ankles. The toe box is perfect and my foot is not being crushed on top because the tongue of the shoe actually cradles the top of my foot instead of stabbing it. I walked around my living room in these and I actually feel more flexible in my ankles which is what I was hoping for with anterior tendon issues when I run. I literally smiled and said “I think I might love these”. We’ll see! I’m hoping these will keep their 5 star rating when I take them on the track tomorrow morning. I’ll update y’all soon! Update: OMG! These made ALL the difference! Wtf??? I’ve spent soooo much money on other “popular” brands that killed my shins and tendons in my ankles (I thought I was just in bad form), but THESE!!! I just ran a mile in these on a paved track and NO PAIN IN MY ANKLES OR TENDONS!!!!! I’m in love with these!!!! If you strike more on your mid foot or ball of your foot when you run, these are definitely for you!!!! YESSSSS!!!!!
