  • great shoe! Been wearing daily for 6 months, still comfy and cute.
Size: 11 Color: Purple
I bought them in sept of 24 and they are still holding up. There is wear and tear, but they are still comfortable and supportive. The sole is flexible and the toe box is wide, BUT this is NOT a wide shoe in the traditional sense. If you are someone who would typically buy a "wide" this is not the one for you. I wear them on concrete daily and have not had any foot pain as there is enough sole (unlike most wide toe box shoes on the market as they are usually barefoot or minimalist-- which I did not want). ordering a couple pairs in other colors. ... show more

  • My comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn.
Size: 9 Color: White
These are extremely comfortable! I have a Morton's neuroma and these shoes are the perfect remedy. Lots of room for my toes without looking sloppy. Very light weight. I love the Whitin brand. I have 3 different styles (barefoot, high tops and these) and 5 different colors now. I walked all over Europe on 2 week vacation and that's the only shoes I wore. I've worn all of them for months now and they wear very well. I've washed them in the machine and air dried with no issues. I wear an 8.5 wide and the 8.5 was perfect. They are designed wide. My feet are so happy! ... show more

  • Whitin always provides
Size: 7 Color: Blue
This is a great back to the basics sneaker. Yet with Whitin you get the wide toebox and zero gravity. Alls good. And comfy. The sole is heavier than the trainers I have so I am looking forward to hitting the street walking. I bought these as a back up just incase a different pair/different brand didnt work out. So glad I did. This is a simple no frills great pair of shoes. Note I seem to go a half size smaller with Whitin. And my toes have plenty of breathing room. I got the blue- its kind of a cross between navy and royal. I like it. Can’t beat the price either. Great value. I may have to follow up after Ive walked a few weeks in them regarding durability. ... show more

  • Great transition shoe!
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
These shoes are truly zero drop. And the toe box is wide enough for me. I can comfortably wear my wool toe socks in them and my feet can breathe and are not squished. They do not look like most barefoot, wide toe box shoes. They are cute! Love the black and white. I replace the insoles with Northsole insoles (Legacy-6mm) and it truly make all the difference. These shoes are more comfortable than my Brooks. I stand on concrete floors all day in the pharmacy so I need a bit of cushion. After working a full 8.5 hour shift, my feet aren't sore or tired. My legs don't ache. And most importantly, due to the true zero drop, my lower back does not hurt one bit. My spine stays in alignment. And I noticed several times throughout the day that I didn't feel the need to be constantly shifting my weight from one foot to the other. These deliver exactly what I need. The price point is phenomenal! I've already bought a pair for my parents. I will add more colors, too, because that burgundy pair is screaming my name! ... show more

  • Fit like shoes are supposed to fit!
Size: 8 Color: Grey Gum
First things first as there's a lot of misconception out there on 'barefoot shoes' FYI- This particular style is not Barefoot or a Minimalist shoe! Please understand that before you order. And .. use their size guide and measure your feet as recommended in order to get the proper fit. Barefoot shoes: -zero drop -No cushioning; very thin sole for maximum ground feel *you can actually feel the ground through your feet. -Minimal protection from ground hazards -Extremely flexible to mimic barefoot movement -Designed to REPLICATE the experience of being barefoot -wide toe box and more natural fit to match the natural foot. MINIMALIST Shoes: - zero-8mm drop -minimal cushioning vs NO cushioning like the barefoot -flexible, but a slightly thicker sole then a barefoot -it sits between a barefoot and traditional shoes. This particular style (zero drop wide toe box road shoe) fits the foot as shoes should fit the foot, with a natural wide toe box. The shoe itself is not a wide fit. It has a very stiff sole and insole even compared to my New Balance zero drop walking sneaker (minimalist and barefoot shoes do not have stiff soles) While the base of the sole is non slip it's a harder material that does not appear to absorb shock. If you're looking for a shoe to absorb impact on your joints, this may not be the correct shoe. *I am not a runner and never have been, so I am not sure how these would perform for running as they are titled as a roadrunning shoe. Very attractive shoe and the material is a breathable fabric. It's not designed for outdoor cold winter weather. I purchased these with the intent to wear them as a zero drop training shoe at F45 however the insole and outer soul is stiff that it may not absorb impact, I prefer to slightly feel the ground doing weight lifting / squat type movements. With that being said, I will stick with Merrell Minimalist shoes for training and will try these on the pickleball court. Update 28days later: I find the shoe very comfortable for walking and everyday wear! I did wear the shoe during an F45 workout and I didn't like it. There was no lateral support from the arch to the toe box, the soul was too thick putting my feet too high from the ground which resulted in me not having much control and the shoe did not flex the way I prefer for doing lunges. ... show more

  • Not Fantastic, but Not Bad.
Size: 8 Color: Grey Gum
This shoe has a nice, wide toe box. It's similar to an Altra. I find it great for keeping my Morton's neuroma from hurting. However, the heels are also very wide, so my heels wiggle around. The right shoe is also a bit smaller than the left. Definitley not a user thing, as my right foot is actually smaller than my left! Finally, there is very little arch support. I used my Power Step orthotics, and that was perfect. I wore them to the grocery store, to do a strength workout, and to do 5 minutes on my mini trampoline. Good for the first 2 activities, not so comfortable for the third. So, an OK walking shoe, gym shoe, but not a shoe for anything high impact. ... show more

  • Very stylish and comfortable
Size: 8 Color: Wine Red
I bought these shoes for long distance walks. They're perfect! They fit well, the toe box is wide enough, and the cushion on the bottom feels great for my knees. The red color is super pretty too, very stylish and I always get compliments on them. Easy to clean when they get dusty/dirty and easy to put on and take off! ... show more
