I purchased a size 9, and these fit perfectly! Extremely comfortable and lightweight. Great for people who love to go barefoot all the time, but know that is impractical if you live in Florida, because the pavement is 4000 degrees. lol They give great protection from the hot pavement, and don't make you feel like you're wearing heavy, clunky sneakers. They are a bit rounded at the toe area, but not enough to complain or look clownish. Perfect for your feet to lay as they naturally do without feeling squished. Great for wide feet, and they stretch to conform to your foot. I love how the soles are slip-resistant, too. I've never felt like I'd lose my balance either indoors or outdoors after it rains. For some reason, I thought they were off-white, but they are more of a beige. The only minor "issue" I have with them is that the plastic things to tighten the elastic (mock) shoelaces, doesn't stay where you put it. It's there, but is nearly useless. That's fine for average daily wear, but if I wanted them tighter for swimming, they wouldn't feel *as* secure as I'd want them to feel. On a good note, if you get caught in the rain wearing these, they don't squeak when you walk, don't hold water inside, and dry very very quickly.

I have severe neuropathy due to nerve damage caused by surgery so have to wear shoes that are both snug enough not to fall off my drop foot, but soft and stretchy enough not to agitate nerves and increase pain. The only shoes I've found that really work for me are water shoes. Not ideal in winter with snow or when it rains but I'd rather have wet feet than the nerve pain. Some of my water shoes have holes in the soles so water passes through. They're the sometimes the most comfortable, but the worst when it comes to wet weather, puddles, etc. These shoes have a quick-dry stretchy and airy upper while the soles are water tight. Perfect for my needs. I wear 7 - 7 !/2 but based on reviews and the size chart, I ordered 8 to be sure my toes don't touch the tip of the shoe, which causes extreme pain. This size is perfect for me. The color, although shown in description as "light beige" is really more of a butter color. Cream with a hint of warm buttery yellow. I just wanted something neutral and would have preferred a slightly more tan tone, the color is not an issue for me. The other water shoes I have are super hot (like 1960s psychedelic hot) coral pink, and turquoise. So as far as something to wear with an color outfit, this color works fine for me. The laces are elastic with a plastic pinch adjust mechanism. Honestly, I could cut the laces and remove them and they wrap the top of my feet well enough they'd stay on, even with my drop foot on the right. But I suppose if I were going to wear the in water (which I do sometimes in the pool or at the beach) tightening them up with the cinch would probably be a good idea. I snugged them just so the end doesn't hang funny but I didn't need to. These shoes are super lightweight and, in my opinion, look good. I don't think anyone would even notice they're water shoes. I looked at the stitching on the inside under the insole and it seems solid now but looks like it the stitching could pull out pretty easily. We'll see. For now, I'm giving the shoes 4 stars but if they hold up will with daily wear, I'll upgrade to 5 because overall, right now, they seem like a 5 for me. You be the judge. Lastly, it's worth mentioning the insoles. The are substantial for water shoes - not the typical foam insert I've seen in most water shoes. I think, according to how they feel and sound when touched/moved in my hands, they are coated foam of some sort, and the surface is cobbled. As you can see in the photos, there are stars and hexagonal shapes embossed in the "foam". Some people might like this for circulation. For me, it's not good with my neuropathy. If you have neuropathy or sensitive feet, you will probably want to replace the insoles. I always put gel insoles in all my shoes anyway because of my condition. So this has nothing to do with my evaluation. I also use self adhesive padding cut to raise the outside edge around the balls of my feet for relief from painful calluses caused by walking with pressure on the outside of me feet due to the nerve problem. Excellent value in my opinion.

I was surprised by how much I like these! I have foot pain, and was assuming I'd just be able to wear them around the pool area on my recent vacation. But they turned out to be so comfortable to walk in, that I wore them on fairly long treks to the beach and back. They are well-cushioned and have a sturdy sole that's fine for walking on pavement. They dry really fast, which was helpful. Also, they have a removable insole which makes it easy to dump the sand out. For the price, I'd say these were a real find.
