In the summer I often wear water shoes. I'll buy two or three pairs at the beginning of the season. I like them for their versatility, comfort and style. Good by the pool or beach or just walking around. I purchased a size 9, and these fit perfectly! Extremely comfortable and lightweight. Great for people who love to go barefoot all the time, but know that is impractical if you live in Florida, because the pavement is 4000 degrees. lol They give great protection from the hot pavement, and don't make you feel like you're wearing heavy, clunky sneakers. They are a bit rounded at the toe area, but not enough to complain or look clownish. Perfect for your feet to lay as they naturally do without feeling squished. Great for wide feet, and they stretch to conform to your foot. I love how the soles are slip-resistant, too. I've never felt like I'd lose my balance either indoors or outdoors after it rains. For some reason, I thought they were off-white, but they are more of a beige. The only minor "issue" I have with them is that the plastic things to tighten the elastic (mock) shoelaces, doesn't stay where you put it. It's there, but is nearly useless. That's fine for average daily wear, but if I wanted them tighter for swimming, they wouldn't feel *as* secure as I'd want them to feel. On a good note, if you get caught in the rain wearing these, they don't squeak when you walk, don't hold water inside, and dry very very quickly. ... show more

    • Great for pools, ok for sim racing
It would be unfair to rate these lower since I used them for sim racing and not it's intended use. Initially, these were great for sim racing but soon noticed pieces of the rubber sole were being shaved off due to the race pedals. I constantly had to clean the rubber shavings off the base of the pedals and the floor. Aside from that, these water shoes are comfortable for indoor and outdoor use, have great grip, I even got to use these at a couple of pool parties and camping near a river. ... show more

Well-constructed water shoe with a substantial sole allowing me to walk over various surfaces. Comfortable and easy to slip on. True to size, I wear an 8 in a Sketcher shoe, and this fits as expected. This is a comfortable shoe for a cruise trip. I came back from my cruise, and this shoe did not disappoint. I wish there were more varied design styles and colors. The size was accurate. The padding is thin, suitable for water shoes.
