These shoes are great. I wore them straight out of the box- no break in- to Disneyland rope drop to 11:30 pm. Not that I would recommend this but my feet were tired but not because of the shoes that is just a lot of walking and standing all day. Highly recommend and they are cute. True to size. I will say I took this risk because the pink pair are my second pair I’ve purchased and I love the black pair I bought first.

Whitin barefoot shoes are the best! Great value compared to most barefoot shoes. They hold up so well to daily exercising and are very comfortable to walk long distances. These can be dressed up as well for work.

I will say they are nicely made, not too much arch support and for me this is exactly what I want, the less arch support, the better. I want as close to barefoot feel as possible They are fairly lightweight and flexible and I have a decent ground feel. I’m 65 and extremely determined to avoid having my toes become fused and mangled like my mother’s toes did which caused her to fall while in her 80’s. So it is important to allow for toe flexing and to strengthen your arch and feel the ground to be signal to your brain. Especially given I have always been a klutz even when young. I took one star off only because while soft and comfortable and flexible they weren’t quite as flexible as they appeared in the photos. However out of the box, I can wear them all day with no problems and I definitely will be keeping them.

Really pleased with these shoes! I've been wearing various kinds of barefoot and barefoot-adjacent shoes for years and its nice to see some more affordable entries into the category. These are very comfortable - not much cushion but more than many minimalist shoes. They fold right up like a barefoot shoe ought to and there is tons of room in the toe box. The lightly stretchy fabric upper has plenty of give - almost socklike. I'm a little concerned about the longevity - they don't seem super durable and I don't know how well they will hold up, but that's an issue with pretty much any kind of sneaker - if you wear it, you're going to wear it out. Overall though I'm happy I gave these a shot; maybe I'll remember to come back and give a durability update in six months or so.

After foot surgery I needed a wide tow box shoe that also had a soft fabric top to not irritate tender toes. This had both. It's very comfortable and comes with 2 insoles so you can choose which (or both) works best. They look great and I'll wear them with jeans and skirts. Haven't had them long enough to speak for ease of cleaning but they seem like they will wash well. I did try another fabric style in canvas and they felt a little too harsh on my toes. The mesh fabric is softer and what I needed. I love the roomy toe box. Very economical and appear to be well built. Time will tell.

This is my second pair of the black Whitin shoes, purchased about 10 months apart, which is why I'm giving a 3 start rating. I understand that these are knockoff Vivos, but I was hoping for at least one year of wear before having to replace them. I don't wear these everyday, and yet, they only lasted 10 months, as the soles in my current pair are falling apart. Reminds me of the boot theory where I'll wind up spending more money on these shoes until I'm able to afford a pair of Vivos which will probably last multiple years. Despite my complaints, the shoes are reasonably comfortable, it is indeed wide toebox, and I'm grateful for that. Just be mindful that these are made with low quality materials, and if you wear them regularly, you'll probably need to replace them within 6 months.

These are basically a lower quality zero rise style, which is as expected, but I can't recommend them as they gave me blisters on both heels the first time I wore them. I was out for several hours that day & was very annoyed that I had no quick remedy available. The fit is fine otherwise, but unless I wear heavy socks, which I don't in the summer & which makes these too tight other times, these are useless. The pressure is all the way up the back of the heel & padded tape inside the shoes doesn't work to relieve this. I pulled out the insoles for use in other shoes with the laces & tossed them.
