I was a little skeptical about these. They are not a known brand to me. After receiving them, I’m pleasantly surprised. With a bit of a retro look and simple design. This shoe feels like a quality minimalist shoe. The sole is thick but flexible. I measured my foot and purchased based on the size guide. It’s a perfect fit! The suede leather has a nice feel to it and will protect my feet. The price is well worth it. Now my feet can start getting stronger in these flexible, lightweight, comfortable shoes.

I took the soles out as I'm used to less under the feet, and they are so comfy. Lots of room for my toes to spread out. Cute style, genuine suede leather, no complaints! Had them a few months and they are holding up great.

I love these shoes! I bought them for work several months back and they are so comfortable and cute. My coworker even bought some! I love the zero drop sole and wide toe box. I will.be getting these again! I would have sized down, though, they run a little big. My coworker said the same thing.

The media could not be loaded. I am extremely passionate about my natural fibers and I often do burn tests on products to confirm fabric content. For this pair of shoes, in this beige color, the outside material is definitely split grain leather suede. The label inside the tongue is incorrect. I love this color which I call "dragon bone". The whole point of lightweight, minimalist, barefoot, zero-drop shoes is that they mimic going barefoot. The theory about barefoot walking is that the tiny muscles and tendons in my feet get stronger and more flexible when they are able to move and my toes can spread out. If I were to put arch support in these shoes that would defeat the whole purpose. Strengthening my foot muscles and flexing my tendons is supposed to eliminate any need I have for arch support. Along with correcting my walking over-stride, I have found zero drop shoes decrease my periodic foot pain. Edit: I just got back from a 1.7 mile walk over concrete, a dirt path with river stones and a chipped wood path. On all the surfaces these shoes provided an excellent ground feel. I felt extremely stable with zero ankle rolling. I absolutely will be ordering a second pair of these shoes in a different color.

Positive: 5 stars for comfort, beautiful color, seems like good quality. Not so positive: so wide that my feet looked like duck feet. Not only wide toe box but mid-foot also. Very little arch support (which can be fixed by good insoles). I despise pointy shoes and really cant' wear reg. width shoes anymore bc of bunions but these are just waaay too wide. Also, why such unusual sizing: sizes jump by 1 whole size: 5.5, 6.5 etc? I will probably buying them in about in 10-15 years when all I care is comfort but not just yet.

These are my new favorite shoes. They fit me right out of the box. They are so very comfortable. Someone in another review said they weren't real leather, I really don't know or care. They are good quality and so soft. They are roomy through the toe box and zero drop, so if you are not used to that just give them time. They have a medium souls I can walk on rocks with them and I really don't feel them. I wear them with socks, not because I have to but because that is my habit since my feet are always cold. My feet do not sweat in these because they are breathable. There is no arch support, but I didn't want that.

I got into barefoot shoes in the last year and a half or so, and one of the pointy shoes I thought were beautiful but no longer wanted to wear were a dark grey suede chukka boot. When I found, these, I was amazed that I could basically replace those in a barefoot model, but was skeptical that they were real leather from a cow at the price. I got these, I really like them - they're super comfy and yes, they're wide, but not so wide I'm tripping over my own toes. I bought more pairs in a light color with the intention of dying them colors that Whitin doesn't offer. I need to know what kind of dye to use, and since I wasn't convinced they were actual suede, I looked up what the little symbols on the shoe label mean. Left to right, the three shoes denotes the material of the upper, the insole and the outsole, and the symbols below them show the materials of each. In this model, the upper material is fabric and "other," but no leather. That's why I docked them a star: false advertising. I do have another pair of Whitins that are advertised as having real suede trim, and the label bears this out - it shows leather plus fabric symbols on their label. So, I guess these are "genuine VEGAN leather" ...and when I dye them I should use fabric dye and not suede dye. Still excellent bang for the buck.
