This is a well designed surf shoe. Be careful to measure correctly and then co slider going up one size because the fit is snug. I wore a new pair all week at a favorite Atlantic Ocean beach with very fine sand. I did develop abrasions on both heals and my 3rd and 4th toes just below the toenails from the fine sand and salt water. Consider bandaids I. Those sensitive places. ... show more

Great quality for only 25 bucks. Very well made and I used them all summer and you can't even see any wear on the bottoms. Fabric is thick and durable. And they stay on while swimming.

After surgery, my foot was very swollen and I could not find a shoe that fit. I ordered all sorts of shoes (e.g., Fitville) and crocs that did not work for me. These modestly priced shoes were among the few that were wide enough for my swollen foot. They really stretch across the foot very well. They are water shoes, though, and not walking shoes. I cannot evaluate them as water shoes, but as recovery shoes they gave me something to wear when I left the house BUT they slipped around my heel so much they were quite difficult (and dangerous) to walk in. I ordered my regular size. Now that my foot is recovered, they still fit, but they are so slippery on my foot that I do not use them, even around the house. ... show more

Provide good comfort and protection while walking on small rocks at the ocean shore into the water. They have a removal sole for cleaning out sand when done at the beach. Much better than the cheaper ones. Fits is snug. .
