    • I bought a pair, then another pair!
I use these shoes when I need to walk in our pond doing maintenance. The shoes conform to my foot and the rocks I walk on so there is more contact and no slipping. The grip stays effective when wet and walking on decking around the pond. I like the fit and comfortable contact with the ground. So far nothing has penetrated the sole of the shoe and they provide good protection. I got a second pair to wear when gardening as they keep debris from getting into the shoe and keep my feet cleaner and drier than tennis shoes. I put mine outside to dry overnight and they dry surprisingly fast. Also can be worn with odor eaters or other insoles. Remove them to dry the shoes and insoles overnight. ... show more

These sock shoes run large. I wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes and ordered a size 8 for the sock shoes. I still have about an inch of material in front of my toes and behind my heel, but it’s not uncomfortable or floppy. The socks really do stick! You’ll have very secure footing on a paddle board and will be safe from unexpected sharp objects on the beach or at the lake. ... show more

    • Excellent for backpacking camp shoes and boatin

I used these on a sailing and hiking trip this last two weeks with three days of sailing and hiking, followed by 5 days on a backpacking trail. On the sail boat, they gave good traction, did not mark the deck, and I fogot I even had them on when I went on a 2 mile hike on a trail and along a beach. They were super comfortable! On the backpacking trail, I used these at and around the campsite around wood debris, on rocky ground, and walking on the beach. I also did yoga in them. After the trail, I walked around town in them. I love these barefoot socks! The only cons I have about them is they do tend to collect hair on them, they provide little arch support, and they are not great protection against rocks, but they are socks, not shoes. I bought these initially to use as glove-fit water shoes for the beach to replace a pair of scuba booties I typically use for such. These fit great, shed water very well, don’t interfere with swimming and really do a great job of protecting the bottom of your feet from seashells, bits of glass and the likes. What surprised me is how well the work for kayak, canoe and paddle boarding. In particular, the rubberized soles on these do a great job of gripping on wet, slippery surfaces. Have done ocean launches in my kayak several times with these on and the stability that these provide, when getting into the cockpit and fighting into surf, makes a big difference. Similarly when mounting or standing up on a paddle board, they stick and hold quite well. A note on sizing: I where a US Mens 8 shoe comfortably and purchased the size Women 8/Men 7 based on the “size-down” recommendations and these fit me perfectly. No flap in the toe or wiggle in the heal-cup. YMMV! ... show more

Just received theme I usually wear a 8.5 wide to a 9. According to the size guide, I should be size 7 however, I do not like super tight things on my feet especially since having bunion surgery, and my toe was hitting the edge. Where this might be fine for some people it just bothered me so I am returning for size up, but I cannot wait to start using them. They seem like great quality. If you use them inside, they collect hair and lint easily but it’s nothing water can’t take care of. I bought these so I can safely go barefoot in my yard or out and about. ... show more

So this is my first pair of shoe socks and I for sure will be getting more. I normally wear leather boots at work so the breathability is amazing. The sole is also super durable and comfortable. Felt like Spiderman when I took them out of the box.
