  • Incredible comfort and held up well under rough use.
Size: 10 Color: 3-1_ Dark Grey
The shoes are light weight, fit like a glove, and thin enough to feel the surface under my feet. I use to have problems with rubbing and blisters when walking or running more than 3 miles. With these barefoot shoes I don't get blisters. I turns out it was the socks that I had to wear with non barefoot shoes that caused all my issues. The shoes have held up very well under rough conditions and my feet hardly sweat in these. I'm frequently on paved, rocky, or dirty surfaces during my walks, runs, and hikes. With a thin sole I didn't expect the shoes to last as long as thick soled shoes but they have held up well. I logged 80 outdoor activities over 250 miles, and daily wear with over 1.2 Million steps in these shoes over the last 6 months. The soles near the toes are just now starting to crack from the wear. The soles are thin so you will feel any rocks you step on. For some runs I've had my feet get slightly bruised but that is my fault for running over such a rough rocky surfaces. After wearing so many times I started having problems with the thin insert liner sliding back under my heel and causing discomfort. I used double sided tape to keep the insert in place to prevent it moving around. The shoes are very comfortable and lasted longer than expected under heavy use. I'd say I received great value with these shoes and will purchase another pair. ... show more

  • I really like these...
Size: 7.5 Color: 3-1_ Black
I just got them and it was love at first wear. This is my first try with barefoot shoes and is an experiment in progress. They fit perfectly when I put them on and I loved the way the felt when I took them for a short walk. I am eager to see how it goes when I use them for my next workout. Looking at the bottoms of these I think I need different shoes for walking on concrete though. It seems more like a trail shoe although it is advertised as a cross trainer. I do a lot of walking on concrete and I don't know how barefoot shoes will hold up but I think I need to pick up a pair with a bottom meant for walking on concrete if there is such a thing. ... show more

  • Almost Perfect
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Gum
This is my first set of barefoot shoes. I wanted something affordable to try them out before I spent $150+ on the other brands. The shoes are comfortable, and have enough toe spread to be a true barefoot shoe. It takes some getting used to, feeling every pebble under your foot is weird at first but your body adapts. I do suggest having a baseball or softball at home and roll the soles of your feet to stretch the muscles in your toes after each use. You will be using muscles in your feet you didn’t even know existed and they will be sore, so the stretching helps. My only downside to the shoes is that they are glued together and since I bought the black pair, that glue is very noticeable and not done neatly, so aesthetically it’s meh. I use it for work, errands and racquetball so no one is looking at my footwear but I wish it was made better. I’d buy another pair if they were. ... show more

  • A Little Narrow in the Toe Box for a Wide Toe Box Shoe
Size: 12 Color: 3-1_ Brown/Gum
These shoes will probably be OK once I wear them a while, especially if I apply my stretchers to them, but the wide toe box is not naerly as wide as other styles by the same seller/manufacturer, e.g., their sneakers which have a nice comfortable toe box. right out of the package. This is a hot button for me because almost no one makes shoes with a wide enough toe box to acommodate my wide foot ball and toes - even if I buy WW or 4E widths. This shoe fits me a little better than, say, New Balance 4E. Also a litle attention to sizing - the shoes are actually sized in metric sizes. A size 12 would often cross to a 46, but this Size 12 shoe crosses to a 45, which works OK for me. But then, I'm a crochety old guy who wore wingtips for 40 years when I was working, and have absolutely no patience left for "regular" toe-crunching shoes any more. As always: "Your mileage may vary" ... show more

  • The sizing is off by half a size.
Size: 10 Color: 1_ Black
I normally am a size ten and noticed that the size ordered is not the size displayed but it’s the next half size up. Due to this I’m unsure if the size I have is a ten or a 10.5 because the size on the shoe is 43, which is anywhere from a 9.5-10.5 US. So, sizing aside, the shoe does well, albeit a bit loose in the heal due to size issues, and it’s still rather comfortable and the wise toe box is nice. I think if I buy the next half size down I’ll notice an increase in tactile performance like a proper barefoot shoe. It appears that if I order the 9, what they send is the 9.5; if I order the 8, they send a 9.0 US. Hope that helps. ... show more

  • Flexible lightweight
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Gum
Super stylish, snug and comfortable around the ankle. Good grip on flat surfaces. Very comfortable shoe to be worn with socks. My toes will grab the edge of some material inside. While they are comfortable, they have a narrow feel about them in toe box as well with the sole formed to contour to the bottom of the universal person’s foot. It touches my arches a little, which I find distracting. Im working on my heel strike and the heel is so precise it does give me good feedback, but I wonder if it isn’t restrictive. ... show more
