These are the best shoes I've ever owned. They look great, and most importantly they feel great. I was born with wide feet, and have deformed curled toes from wearing medium width shoes with narrow toe boxes growing up. At the same time, I prefered the flat soles of skate shoes and never liked shoes with raised heels because they hurt my knees. I have looked and looked for wide skate shoes and never found any. Then I found these shoes from Whitin and now I'll never buy another shoe again until they go out of business. They're that good. Buy one-half size up as they're intentionally a half size shorter than normal to be wider than normal. I'm a size US 9M, but their 9's didn't fit me. They were too short. That's when I realized the recomendation to buy half a size up on the product listing, so I returned the 9's and orderes the '9.5-10's' and they fit me perfectly, in both width and length. I bought these men's shoes though I am woman because I liked the color combo. Super roomy and comfy with room to spread my toes. I like how you feel close to the earth - almost a barefoot feel. Great travel shoes since they are so light weight and great for walking.

Purchased a second pair after wearing the first a few days. I also have some Xero shoes. These have just as wide of a toe box but there is an insole that does have a slight drop. Overall for more than half the money less it is well worth it.

You might need to change your walking gait to a traditional barefoot gait (toe to heel) in order to avoid an audible slap from the metatarsal (front of foot)

Most comfortable shoes ever. They look somewhat ragged which I am not to keem about. The soles squeak really bad which is embarrassing.

The shoe is comfortable. Love the toe space. The leather version isn’t very breathable. I like the mesh versions better. The only problem with the shoes are that they make a slapping sound when I walk on hard surfaces. It’s a little annoying. If they can change to sole to eliminate the slap, I’d give it 5 stars. ... show more

I have been wanting to move into a more grounded feeling shoe. Overall, the design is good and feels great. Having a wider toe-box has been awesome so that your toes can stretch and flex. I did bump down a star for durability. Look, this is an inexpensive product so keep in mind the materials are not of highest quality. Again, I am happy enough that I am buying a different style from this brand. It would be nice though to have a line available with more durable material. Cheers! ... show more
