I use to wear XX-wide or 6E wide shoes with a wide toe box. But I'd still have a constant painful squeezing around my toes. My big toe joints and pinky toes were still being forced inward even when not walking. I didn't know what I could do to be able to walk pain free. After some research I found Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. So, I decided to try them. My first pair i ordered, what I thought would fit me. I didn't measure my feet. What i got were to large. So, I gave them to my mother to try. Which happened to fit her perfectly. She is so Happy to no longer have painful swollen feet and ankles at the end of the day. She has decided to order 2 more pairs for herself and toss out the hundred dollars plus shoes that promised pain free feet, but never relieved her pain. My mother is diabetic. I got her toe socks with her shoes. Before, she was unable to touch her toes due to sharp pain. She has noticed that when she lotions her feet. Her pain is getting less and less as the days go by. I ordered my pair After i took my feet measurements ordered. I absolutely love my shoes. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you also purchase toe socks. So, you can actually use the foot shape of the shoes to best benefit your walk, stability, and as pain free as you can be. I have also told my brother about them. He actually got his pair not long ago. He is enjoying them. He also had the same problem as myself with finding shoes that are wide enough around the toes. I got a pair for my husband. He is in the beginning stages of getting a bunion. He has stated. That he keeps forgetting he even has shoes on. The kids are next on the list to Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. The thin soles took a little getting used to at first, but now these are the only sneakers I wear. They are super light weight and flexible, which makes it possible to slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time. Yet somehow they still stay solidly attached to your feet and never feel loose. I could never go back to narrow toe boxes after wearing these. It just seems insane to me that we shape shoes the way that we have for so many years, squeezing our toes together and leading to all manner of foot ailments, and then pretending that fancier shoes are the fix for--rather than the source of--our problems. I've tried some other Whiten shoes, and these ones have a bit wider toe box than the others. It's perfect. At first I thought the toe box made them look a little bit like clown shoes, but now I think that regular toe boxes look ridiculous. Somehow they're also one of the most durable shoe I've had too. The soles are still gripping and have plenty of tread left after a year, and the glue hasn't separated at all where the sole meets the sidewalls (amazing given how flexible they are!). I'm on my second pair, but that's only because I tried washing and drying the inserts on my last pair and they shrunk (oops). I also love the simple and clean design. I can wear them at home, work, and the gym and they feel appropriate in each case. Friends have complimented them.

I bought these shoes to start getting into wearing barefoot type shoes. I wasnt sure what to expect. When I first got them and put them on, I was surprised how comfortable they were! There is soft and plush material covering the inside of the shoe. The heel has a little extra padding too, this helps keep your heel in place. I have been wearing them for a week now. They are light and comfortable to wear around, but not so comfortable that I cant feel the ground beneath me and all the little things I step on. They definitely dont seem out of style either. I have received several good comments at work about how they look nice and look comfortable. The sole of the shoe is quite grippy and it is very easy to make a squeak noise when rubbing them against tile, gym floor, etc. I tend to do this alot without meaning to with these shoes! They dont provide much support, but I think thats to be expected, they are a barefoot type shoe, they are meant to help you not need support for your feet! I am a runner and I normally buy a size 9.5 shoe. I was surprised, after using the sizing chart (which you should absolutely use!), that I needed to order a size 8! I am glad I looked at the sizing chart because they are just the right size for me. I am happy with my purchase and would buy them again!

Here's the thing. They are advertised as an "active wear" shoe. I wear these to work. Essentially I work a 9hr job where most of it I sit but I can move around at my leisure. It feels like I'm really "walking" for the first time. It's like I have more contact with the ground and I'm using muscles in my foot that I haven't used before. I have historically worn a size US 12 but I think I should be wearing a US 13. I bought the 12.5 and my feet couldn't be happier. My toes can spread out. There is room for thin and thick socks. Its been I think 3 months and they look the same as when I bought them. To be fair I wouldn't do intense exercises in these. I do jog regularly and I do prefer more cushion in my sole. In saying that I don't think I'll buy another pair of "big brand" shoes. To be fair most of that is just buying the name the only sneaker I have ever bought with the same level of comfort were sketchers. For the price I'm sold. I would say not meant for rain but other than that a solid buy!
