These are my first pair of barefoot/wide toe box shoes and I am very happy with them. I bought my exact size and they fit. I wear these shoes on a daily basis and I have not had any foot pain. I’ve only worn these shoes to the gym a few times and I’ve noticed that there is more wiggle room than I like - not as much support. The material seem to hold up well but I’ve only worn these shoes for a little less than 2 months so we’ll how they hold up long term. Overall, I think these shoes are a great option for beginner who are transitioning to barefoot shoes.

These look pretty good and have a very nice barefoot style sneaker feel to them comparable to more expensive brands. The toe box is nice and wide so if you have been wearing barefoot style sneakers for a long time like me (mostly Merrel Vapor Gloves) then you will be happy with these like me.

So comfortable. This is the first pair of casual shoes I've worn where my toes aren't bunched together. Most barefoot shoes are pretty pricey, but these are a good deal and look great. The color is more navy blue than dark gray.

For the first 6months: Office work, wearing them only about 3 days a week and only at work. Did not wear them outside or at home. So really light casual use is where the damage occurred. So they wear out fast. Not a con because it was expected: -the flat sole, limited cushion takes a while to get used to, but I hear it’s better for you. And I think it has strengthened my feet and back is hurting less. Now that they are worn, I just started using them outside. Learning curve when walking on rocks. If you heel step, it will hurt. Pro: I have wide feet and I am loving the extra room. I would like some more, but these don’t hurt my feet like vans. I have noticed a gap starting to form between my toes, meaning my feet are getting used to the room! Yay. Cons: -2month: They were BLACK but color faded after about a month. -4month: glue is starting to give but hasn’t gotten worst than the pic. -5month: canvas tearing inside and there is some plastic piece that broke in to little pieces that make it feel like rocks in my shoe when they come out. Overall: I applaud WHITTIN for providing a wide toe shoe against the norm. I’m sold on the wide toe and that alone gave me a positive experience. But, I will try other brands on my next purchase in hopes of better quality material and a longer lasting shoe for my money. Torn between 3-4 stars, but went with 3 because of how fast the canvas wore out.

So I've been into minimalist shoes for almost 10 years after having started rock climbing and being more mindful of taking care of my feet because rock climbing shoes really squish your toes together. I wear toe spacers to maintain foot health. I've owned Vibram toe shoes (owned several), Xero shoes (owned several), very first shoes from Altra, and the original version of Olukai's Nohea Moku (which are my favorite, I've owned 3 pairs). Granted the size I got was too small even though my usual "minimalist" size doesn't change through all of the wide toebox minimalist shoes I've owned. So in Xeros and Olukais I'm a solid 9. If you've ever owned or worn those; if you buy these shoes you might want a 9.5. My toes were right on the edge so I'm returning my 9 and sizing up a half size to a 9.5. I can already tell these will fit perfectly with the new size, because the 9's feel like a glove, but I want more allowance for my toes even though the canvas will break in. I'm done paying for expensive shoes. Even with the "smaller" 9 the toe box was perfect, felt like a Xero Hana shoe, and I can tell with a half size up it'll be perfect. I wish they made a slip on canvas like the style of the Olukai Nohea Moku because I got spoiled not tying my shoes, but these are going to be my next workhorse minimalist shoe for sure. I'll update my review once I get the new size in. ::Update:: 07-16-23 Just got the proper size in. They feel just like my old Xeros. So easy to drive in if you drive stick as well, I can feel everything at my feet, super comfortable, no hot spots no tightness. These will break in as well and feel even more comfortable, so now it's a matter of seeing how much abuse they can take. My typical shoe size is EU 43 or in a minimalist shoe like I said 9-9.5. So using this as a reference I'd get a 9.5-10 for the right amount of toe space at the very edge.
