The media could not be loaded. I LOVE these shoes! I normally where a women's 8.5-9 and ordered a size 40. They are a tad big without socks on and get sweaty fast, but great with a thin pair of socks. I am switching all of my shoes to barefoot, but that can get expensive fast, so I am happy to have these affordable options. They are great to slip on fast. They are comfy, roomy, and lightweight. They have a good amount of cushion still and you can remove the insoles for more room. They are also secure on your feet. My only complaint is that the glue from the sole to the upper shows. I’ve been slowly transitioning my husband out of his right restrictive shoes and into barefoot styles. These are an amazing value. At first he thought they were too snug but I suggested he take out the insole for a more barefoot feel and they fit perfect after that. He wears them all the time and they have even gone through the washer and dryer without any issues. Love this brand!! This is the second pair I've ordered and these were for my son. He is still growing and has some foot pain and weakness of the muscles. I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to Vivobarefoot (my first pair worn out within a year...). I really loved this black color, and it felt slightly larger than I expected, so I can put on socks without feeling compression from the shoe. Its bottom and insole are not as thin as vivo, and it's stiffer, so I can't feel the ground much. But I get what I paid for, and I would consider buying another pair soon. ... show more

My true size is a 12.5, but I usually buy 13 caus so can never find 12.5 but this shoe comes in a 12.5 It's a little snug. One of the suggestions on the buy page said this show runs large, so I thought buying my real size of 12.5 that runs a little large would be no problem. I wish I had gone for the size 13. Maybe they will loosen up over time but right now they are squeezing. I did not have this problem with the 2 other shoes I bought from this company. Just this maroon one. I included a picture of the other size 12.5 shoe I got from Whitin. It might be tough to see but the black shoe is definitely wider in the toe than the maroon. True to size. I started many years ago with the vibram 5 fingers, still have them still line them. Wanted to find a barefoot style shoe and choose these based off reviews. I can't say enough about these shoes! Had them for probably four months, they never get dirty! I've worked in dirt holes with them on and they're dirty that day, but two days later they're back to looking clean. I wear them because the zero heel is better for my body. For the price, these are a great introduction to minimalist shoes and a worthy replacement for my old go-to's, the Saucony Bullets. Pros: -Price. These cost less than half as much as most other pairs of minimalist shoes. -Upper material They are soft and breath well. No heel chafing at all. Cons: -Narrow toe-box for minimalist shoes. The toeibox here is a bit pinched, which exacerbates the next issue. -Stitching hot-spot on the pinkie toes. This isn't entirely unexpected. My pinkie toe falls at a spot where there needs to be reinforced stitching. But in a shoe where the materials are otherwise nice and soft and plush, the stitching rubbing here is a bummer. That said, nothing that can't be overcome with a bit of moleskin. And at this pricepoint, it's not bad. Overall, especially if you intend to wear socks and have never tried a minimalist or barefoot shoe, these are a solid first shot without breaking the bank.
