I liked the style and feel of these shoes. I might want a half size down, but I like how they are versatile and I can wear them to a lot of different events. Bought these for my 12 year old in size 11. He has a long narrow foot. I initially thought they were too big (especially too wide) but my son has convinced me he loves them. He says they feel like he’s barefoot. He’s also a huge fan of the color green. Hasn’t had them long enough to know anything about durability, but I don’t expect them to fit him much longer than a year to 18 months. ... show more

The product fits really nice, it has a wide toebox so your feet are not crammed inside. The only thing I do not like is the minimal support it gives. You would be best if you purchased an insert to give you more cushion.

For the price, these are a bargain. Yes, there are better minimalist "barefoot" shoes out there, but not much below $120. IF (and only if) you take out the insoles these are decent, and the "blended brown" is acceptable for work environments. Note on sizing: WITH the inserts in them, they are sized about right. But when I took the insert out, it is a bit too large so consider if you want cushion (leave it in, sizing is OK), or take it out (sizing is too large). Note that these are not super wide; more of a "regular" so people with super wide feet may not like them. I have wide-ish feet, and thought they were fine. If/when I wear these out, I will buy another pair. Best barefoot bargain out there that doesn't look totally weird. ... show more

Great gym shoe. Very light! The rubber grips pretty good even on slippery tile. I like how flat the sole is good for deadlifts. This is the second pair I have bought so far.

    • Barefoot'ish - For those that want a barefoot style shoe, but also something that looks good

So on a scale of your average shoe to barefoot (no shoes), these are like a 7. I've been wearing them a few hours a day, walking indoors and out and I'm fairly pleased with the shoe overall. common to barefoot styles, you can feel the ground beneath but it's padded with a sole(~5mm) and insole (3mm), so my feet are not tired after hours of wearing. Pros: - Cost. These are good looking shoes that are 1/3 the price of similar shoes (like Lems) without the funky fat toe box, yet still accommodating a wide foot. - Look stylish. I love my Vibram barefoot, but lets face it, these shoes look so much better than my toe shoes from Vibram. - Comfort. I'm working from home, but I do go out for walks and might wear the shoe for a few hours each day. These are very comfortable. Cons: - The shoe is warmer on the feet than most I've worn, feeling the heat just sitting down on a cool 65F day. - The insole feels cheap, I expect to replace or remove it - Weight. I was surprised by their heft. 10.8oz per shoe. (My Merrell Men's Vapor Glove 3 are 6oz each) It's been all of 1 week since I've owned them, so long-term is questionable. But let's just say I'll be back in 90 days buying up 5 boxes for the future if these can hold up. ... show more
