Frequently asked questions

The 'zero drop' in the product refers to the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot. A shoe with 'zero drop' means that the heel and the forefoot are the same distance from the ground, providing a natural running feel similar to running barefoot.

The 'wide fit' indicates that the shoes are designed with extra space in the toe box area. This allows your feet to spread out naturally for comfort and stability. It is particularly beneficial for those who have wider feet or prefer a roomier fit.

The 'upgraded footbed' in these shoes refers to enhanced insole design. It typically means that the insole has been designed with additional padding or features for better comfort and support, improving the overall wearability and user experience of the shoe.

Yes, these shoes are designed for running. The zero drop sole and wide fit enhance natural movement and provide stability, suitable for runners who prefer a close-to-the-ground running feel. However, transitioning to minimalist running shoes requires a gradual process to allow your body to adapt.

Love these shoes, my first pair of minimalist footwear. However I’ve only had them two weeks, and not worn them much as I’m at the start of transitioning to this style of shoe, and the tongue is already half detached on one of them. I can repair it, and the functionality of the shoe isn’t really affected, however quality control seems to be lacking. ... show more

  • Love these shoes
I absolutely love these shoes. This red shoes really stand out in a crowd. I was not sure how they would work because of the lack of arch support but the zero heel really helps you to stand properly.

  • Surprising shoe
These shoes remind me of a few different sneakers I had in the mid 1970s -- minimal thickness to the outsole/tread, basic fabric upper, no real cushioning in the midsole or insole. I liked those shoes but they always wore out fast. These shoes I've worn for about a week now. The foot posture (neutral heel, flat foot) already has made my lower back happy after long days standing up. The upper is comfortable. I wear them with very thin socks. They're fine barefoot, I just don't want them to stink like barefoot shoes will. My only complaint is that the color is a bit strange. After they get dirtier it will be less odd. As comfortable as they are, I don't mind. I'm determined to see how long these last, so I'll wear them a lot. So far, an excellent value for a very comfortable shoe. As to sizing, they are pretty well direct to size -- at least they are for me. I've fit ski boots extensively in the past so I have a geek's view of fit. I have a narrow heel, relatively low instep, mild arch, and wide forefoot. Tall arch/tall instep people, maybe they will need to order with the idea that it may be too snug across the instep -- or may not. That's the only place they seem unlikely to fit certain feet. ... show more

  • I wouldn't call these "barefoot" by any means
Ordered the Dark Gray/White. I was between sizes so I sized down and that seems to be the right call, so if you're in between, just go down, there is plenty of room. Shoe seems pretty decent for the money...but I was really hoping for more of a minimalist feet. The biggest issue for me is the random "toe support" lumps in the front of the insole. I don't understand why any shoe maker does this. I have never used an insole where I was glad those existed. Just make them flat...like you know...being barefoot? =D Overall still an OK shoe, I'm going to give them a try, just not what I was hoping. I am considering trying to wear them without the insoles to make them more minimalist, but that changes where the material on the shoe contacts my ankles, so that might cause some unintended rubbing. ... show more

  • Shoe feels great but...
The shoes fits great and looks good which is great because personally I think a lot of zero drop or barefoot shoes are lacking in style but with these I've gotten a lot of compliments. They are comfortable but the only problem is the insole moves around pretty often when you're wearing them making them super uncomfortable when this does happen. So I'm either going to just remove the insole or glue it down I'm not sure. But for the price you can't go wrong with these. ... show more
