I had read where another person stated that her husband had a wide foot and the sandals fit good- not! Because I've had witten shoes before and loved them, I figured I'd just do some modifications to them. So I removed the Velcro and sewed it back on to accommodate my wide feet- I think they'll be fine now. I do essentially like that the soles are not clunky and thick. They feel like they should last a long time.

Foot bed is cushioned but firm and flat with no arch support. This is the best for my knees and feet. The front and back straps are very adjustable. I use these as slippers in places where I don’t want to get my feet dirty and I leave the back straps open like in the picture so I can just slide my feet in. They also tend not to hold onto dirt and seem to be easy to clean.

Not okay for my feet. I have extremely flat feet and typically whitin works well for me. Not these, they chafe my arch. Product is otherwise quality, just consider your foot architecture.

The fit is as advertised. The soles are not hard or too cushioned for someone with balance issues, I bought them for my dad. My dad says they are some if the most comfortable sandals he has had and he doesn't feel like hes going to fall over with them on. The only issue he has is getting them on, the ankle strap is a little short for someone with trouble bending and balancing... overall a great purchase!

these are comfortable and feel nice and secure while walking. Only problem: on my first day using them, walking around on a pretty flat and easy dirt trail, the front of the shoes got pretty beat up and unravelled slightly. Still usable, certainly but they definitely look more than 1 day old!! I'm a fan of Whitin's shoes, but in terms of durability you do get what you paid for.

Not what I’m used to from this brand. I’ve had three pairs of Whitin shoes including a pair of running shoes that I have put over 200 miles in and they are still going strong. This isn’t a review regarding the quality of these sandals (although the sight of glue around the seems didn’t fill me with confidence). The fit and look are terrible. The toe box is narrow. I wear size 11.5 wide in most shoes and went with size 12 in these sandals. Also, these look like something you would get from a hospital after you broke a toe… not cool.

Good deal for the sale price especially. I wear a size 11.5 and ended up getting a size 11. I tried a 12 and it felt just a bit too big. Very comfortable. I love my whitin shoes and was happy to see they made sandals.
