This is a well made and sturdy metal and is nicely finished. I do not care for the faux marble look and my urn does not look like it is made of marble at all. Instead it looks like a psychedelic podium. The plug in the bottom is made of a thin and brittle plastic and the low quality of this important aspect is why this is not a five star product for me.

Very Disappointed. This urn is NOT real marble so is NOT appropriate for ground burial. Feels and looks like plastic in person. The bottom of the urn is thin and made of a cardboard light weight material that will rot in the ground.

The Cremation Urn Vault looks nice and feels solid. The cap on the bottom doesn't have a tight seal so I would not recommend pouring the ashes directly into it. The finer dust would leak out of the bottom. I put a heavy plastic bag inside and transferred the ashes into the plastic bag. Then I used a Plastic Zip Tie to seal the bag. I also added some silicone adhesive to the cap so the seal would be tight and permanent. I added a plaque that I special ordered from Amazon as well.

Planning my final arrangements is not a pleasant task, but must be done. I need an urn for my cremated remains and was excited when I saw this one. It's the style and color I want for a "permanent placement". When I got the urn, I was extremely disappointed in the quality, especially considering the $106.99 price tag. I've included several pictures of different sides that show the quality issues. This urn is not solid marble. As described, it's made of crushed stone and resin. The paint job makes it look like marble with veins and there is a top coat of clear lacquer. The biggest problem with the urn is the lacquer coating. There are very visible pit marks on all sides and some areas have a rough look instead of the smooth look the lacquer is intended to provide. The top of the urn has the most dominant pit marks and it is just unsightly. If the urn is being buried or placed in a vault, then maybe the finish would not be an issue for some people. But if your plan is to keep it on a shelf, then I doubt you'd find this product acceptable. Based on my level of disappointment, I don't recommend this product.
