Turned out great as wallpaper, even if a little tricky! Detailed review on my wallpaper journey below in case anyone else wants to use it in this manner, I did a lot of research, but didn't find a ton of insight on using what is essentially contact paper on walls. Once you remove the backing, the paper isn't super thick (see photo showing old wallpaper), so probably best applied to a lighter surface. Also not as durable, but I am still giving 5 stars because you really can't beat this price for the amount you get, I only needed 3 rolls to border the whole kitchen. I looked at many options for this project and if I went for a thicker paper I would have paid a substantially higher price. There are guide lines on the back of the roll to assist with cutting, but to be honest they are not very useful because they have instructions printed over the lines in numerous languages and those words cover up where the lines should be, making it a little difficult to cut. I used a fresh Xacto blade and had no issues cutting the paper to size. Details for any would-be wallpaper-ers: Rental apartment came with a weird pear wallpaper border in kitchen. I wanted a solution to cover it up temporarily, but turns out no one makes wallpaper borders today that aren't equally as hideous as the off-putting pears. There are plenty of cute wallpapers out there, but they come in rolls designed to be hung vertically and so I had trouble finding a pattern that was suitable to be used as a narrow, horizontally-hung border. Plus, the cute wallpapers cost more than I wanted to spend for something that was only going to benefit me for a year or two in a rental. My original idea was to not peel the backing at all and simply use a temporary adhesive to apply the paper with the backing attached. However, the existing border was already peeling in numerous places so it was unlikely that I would be able to hang this without further damage to the existing border. I decided to peel the backing of this product, but then found the old border was dark enough that the pears would show through this paper. So I ended up pulling the top layer of the previous border (which was disintegrating) and applying this paper directly to the even older, and-- astonishingly-- even more hideous previous border (neon green and baby blue plaid). Based on the unideal conditions of this wall, I do not believe that I will be able to remove the paper when we move out and plan to leave it behind as an improvement for the next tenant. If you had a clean surface free from preexisting issues or wallpaper, I think you might be able to remove this without damaging the wall. ... show more

    • Great value good looking peel and stick
I ordered 5 rolls of this after seeing it recommended in a blog and finding it was really reasonably priced compared to other peel and stick wallpapers, and installed it on an about 100 sqft (10x10) wall about a month ago as of writing. Pros: - Really competitively priced. - Looks great and has a nice texture - I've received many compliments on my new background wall for video calls and IRL. - Rolls were uniformly colored. - Thus far it has stayed up well on regular painted drywall. The only issue has been very minor separation at overlap points where it readheres if I run my fingers across the seam. This is not noticeable unless I look at it close from a 45+ degree angle and it stays on for a while after fixing it. - I haven't applied peel and stick before so I don't have a comparison, but this stuff was pretty easy to work with for someone generally handy. Cons: - Pattern can be a little tricky to align properly. - I scuffed the wallpaper in a couple of spots while getting air bubbles out, and the scuffs seem to very easily expose white color underneath the pattern which is a little noticeable on black wallpaper. Hence, this is probably best for walls that aren't going to be exposed to people carrying stuff past it/kids running around/etc. ... show more

Really pretty wall paper. The texture is nice. The peel and stick is easy to do, it cuts easy and clean. One downside though is that it tears easily. If you are very carful it work great. But be aware that it will tear if you try and go fast.

You don't get much on a roll, but this is a nice wallpaper. Easy to install and match up and if you don't get it perfect, the geometric design camouflages well. The back also has lines/grids to aid in cutting. I wasted minimal paper. Nice thick paper with a strong adhesive. It's not impossible to remove, but it's not super removable once applied and pressed. I used a wallpaper smoothing tool. There's a nice texture to it as well, not just a flat sheet of thin papery vinyl. The accent wall took 3 rolls (see pic) and notice, that's not an entire wall. ... show more

When is first received this, I was pleasantly surprised to find the pattern vibrant and exactly as advertised. The downside however, is that once I pulled the roll out of the plastic wrap in order to cut it to size, I noticed a problem. In several places on the roll there were lines of "bubbles", where the adhesive had already separated from the backing. This made me apprehensive about how well the paper would stick to my wall...Nevertheless I went ahead and attempted to install some in my kitchen cupboards as I was so looking forward to seeing the end result. I will say, the product was fairly easy to cut and install (fun note: on the backing paper they have a grid with little squares to make measuring easier, however it's in centimeters, not inches, just so you know). I used a razor to get a cleaner line rather than scissors pictured on the instructions. On my first attempt I tried using a putty knife to smooth out the bubbles but it ended up being too harsh on the paper, tearing it if I wasn't extra careful. So I pulled the piece off and tried again with a new piece. This time I used my hands to smooth the paper out, and it went much easier, however, the parts where the paper had the bubble line where the backing had already separated prior to the install just didn't stick on as well, leaving some bubbling, as I had feared. At the moment i'm stuck because I don't want to end up installing the rest of the paper, only to have them not adhere to the walls properly... it's a bummer as it really is a beautiful design and I'm really hoping it's just a case of receiving a bad roll and not that it's a faulty product... ... show more

Same experience as many! The color was different with the diferent rolls. I loved the design and the overall wall BUT it did not stay put and started to peel off after a few weeks. Very disappointed! Now, I have to start over and I wonder if a peel and stick really works.
