Visually these are very attractive with a very classic look. They are heavy and come beautifully packaged. They would make a very nice gift for someone starting their whiskey journey. The glass is nice, but I have crystal glasses with more of a glimmer that I prefer. But for the price, I think anyone would be very satisfied with these for everyday use and can be washed in the dishwasher without much worry. ... show more

These glasses have a nice medium weight and look like they'll hold up fine under regular use. The glass is okay quality—not crystal, and not especially thick. They come in a lovely gift box—which would have been much better if it hadn't had a UPC code sticker on the lid (it came off but left a slight indentation). Topped with a yellow paper funnel, I'm using these glasses to make homemade fruit fly traps; they're much prettier and more decorative than the mason jars I was using previously. The apple cider vinegar with a drop of dish soap looks like a bit like whiskey, so I've made sure to alert all the drinkers in my house so they don't get a nasty surprise. :-) (By the way, we're catching a ton of fruit flies with these. I'm wondering if the cut glass reflects more light, which may be attracting them.) ... show more
