My husband and I love these shelves. We bought 4 sets of 6 tier shelves to create 3 sets of 7 tier shelves. The only available space we had where more shelves would work was a walkway and we needed fairly narrow shelf so not to impede clearance. Anyways, I thought I didn't even want industrial type shelves, but these look fantastic. I love the real wood and I really like how they sort of blend into my purple wall, they don't command the space but accent it. The only similar shelves I saw that were genuine wood were from burrows and much much more expensive. These work even better than I expected. I love them! ... show more

Looks amazing, we used it to replace the dvd unit which took up the whole wall, strategically placed all the dvds fit on this unit and it takes up just a corner of the wall. Could not be happier.

First, seeing the other person post a library full of these...heck I should have done that instead of ikea bookshelves. Very cool. Putting it together was not hard ...HOWEVER...PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE BELOW THOUGHTS> Each pole that is used for each level has TWO screw things...and I would suggest screw bottom one as low as it goes, then screw on top on as low as it goes, then screw the pole part as you do each shelf...NOT DOING THIS will make you end up as some point with uneven shelves. Its much harder to fix once its together... Once you put one shelf in you will see how the screwing mechanism works..they are not all screwed in the same way...maybe meant for small adjusting I do not know..but had to adjust each one all the way up once side..was not fun. Put it next to my laundry room with the barn door...and viola.. Tile floor, so no screwing to floor. Also, mobile home so only a few screws in a wood stud, the rest just for show in cheap junk faux wood walls. If you have issues, a nice piece of wood across it could help the issue, if you have bad walls like I do.. :) ... show more

My husband and I bought two of the 32" 6-tier shelves so that we could have a floor to ceiling shelf in our 9.5ft height livingroom. We were nervous about installation because the shelf was REALLY heavy. Fortunately we were able to get most of the screws on the top flanges into the ceiling joist and only 2 or 3 required drywall anchors. I absolutely LOVE this shelving unit! It is sturdy and very aesthetically pleasing. I have a very small laundry room - space for only a washer and dryer. This unit is perfect for my laundry supplies and leaves just enough room for me to stand in front and load my washer. The depth of the unit is 10 inches - the planks are pretty much flush with the wall. In all honesty, I was reluctant to purchase this based upon reviews of assembly. Assembly instructions were included in my order, though the most important part is the picture of assembly. Pay close attention to how the fittings (connector joints) sandwich each wood plank. I followed another reviewer’s suggestion and laid each pipe side by side to match up the lengths. There were slight variations from pipe to pipe, but I was able to match each one to another of the same size. There are 10 pipe pieces, so you will have 5 sets. It’s important to match them up, if you want the shelves as level as possible. Each of the 10 longer pipes come with a fitting, or connector joint, already attached. The instructions do not state this, BUT you need to unscrew the connector joint and screw it onto the other end of the pipe it is already attached to. Tighten all pieces, by hand, before matching the lengths. After this, assembly is easy peasy short and breezy! The only mistake I made (totally my fault) was mixing up the placement of the pipe pieces at the top where it angles to anchor to the wall. There are two short and two slightly longer pieces. The shorter ones connect to the connector on top of the top shelf. The longer ones go from the corner joint to the wall anchor piece. I accidentally reversed them and quickly discovered there was about an inch gap when placing the unit up against the wall to anchor it. I switched the pieces and all was right with the world. After placing the unit EXACTLY where I wanted it, I used a pencil to mark the holes, moved the unit aside, and drilled. This was seriously one of the easiest things I have ever assembled! Like others have said, there is no need to anchor this unit to the floor, though there are holes and screws to do so. I have already recommended this product to a good friend who is looking for shelving for a small space. If I can find a place to put another one somewhere in my house, I will totally buy another without reservation! ... show more

We wanted a shelving unit that bolted to the wall and would hold weight! We live the look of these shelves and that they were very easy to install. Only downside is for some reason the shelves won’t line up between the two sets.
