The items were compacted and vacuum sealed to make then very thin for shipping. No risk of shipping damage due to the nature of the item itself. Material Quality: The top side material of the bed is soft and fluffy. It is described as being plush but that is not the impression I get from it. It is soft but plush is a different kind of soft. The bottom side is more of a liner material. I believe it is water resistant but I cannot be 100% sure. The top side will definitely take on water. Assembly/Build Quality: The bed itself is made well. It seems to be stitched together well enough to hold up under long dog use. Marketing Material: The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) for the most part represent the product well. They do take some liberties with the firmness of the bed, having one picture where a dog is photoshopped on top of the bed and the bed is not even in the slightest compressed. The bed is soft though so I am not trying to take away from its actual softness, but the images are just not realistic. Functionality: The bed is a bed. It is soft and they claim it is washable. I have not tried this yet but as I keep it in my dogs doghouse which is outside, it has been caught in the rain once or twice and it gets really lumpy and lopsided. It takes a bit of effort to get it evenly distributed again. That is just the nature of the filler material being in a single chamber. Price: This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $32.99 sale price ($47.99 actual). I think the thing that makes this price acceptable is the fact that you do get two of them which is nice. One to use now and one for later if the first one gets worn out. Or if you have two dogs it works out well for the price. Likes: I like that it is large and soft, and my dog seems to like it to. Dislikes: When it gets wet is does become a bit of a mess until it is dry. Overall: I would recommend this item if you are looking for a nice large and soft dog bed. The fact that you get two with this pack really makes it worth it for the value. My dog also seems to like it a lot so take it from the expert. Grab a set while they are on sale. ... show more
