  • Peace of Mind in a Box: I Love My Westinghouse WGen 14500 TFc Tri-Fuel Generator
Style: 18000 Watts - Tri Fuel - CO Sensor
I recently purchased the Westinghouse WGen 14500 TFc Tri-Fuel Generator, and I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Honestly, I wish I had made this investment much sooner—it’s one of those rare products that proves its value the moment you put it to use. From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. Everything was thoughtfully packaged, and all the necessary components were included—no last-minute trips to the hardware store. The user manual was clear and easy to follow, and the step-by-step instructions made the setup process smooth and stress-free. Once I had it up and running, the generator performed beautifully. I tested it by powering the air conditioning units in my home, and it handled the load with ease. While running on natural gas, I did notice a brief power dip from the generator itself, but it quickly stabilized once the current leveled out. Switching to gasoline eliminated the issue entirely—the performance was rock solid, likely thanks to the higher BTU output. What really stands out to me is the generator’s versatility and reliability. The ability to switch between natural gas, propane, and gasoline gives me peace of mind, especially during unpredictable weather or emergencies. It’s clear that Westinghouse put a lot of thought into the design and functionality of this model. And here’s a small but delightful touch: starting the generator with the remote control is incredibly convenient—and honestly, it just feels good. It’s a small feature, but it adds to the overall sense of quality and ease of use. So far, everything has been excellent. The generator is powerful, dependable, and user-friendly. My family feels much more secure knowing we have a reliable backup power source ready to go. If you're considering a tri-fuel generator, I wholeheartedly recommend the WGen 14500 TFc—it’s a fantastic choice that truly delivers on its promises. ... show more

  • Unit started right up! Great Gen!
Style: 18000 Watts - Dual Fuel - CO Sensor
Great "getting started" directions, minimal assembly required. Unit started right up (once I turned the fuel valve on... DOH!) and ran great! My biggest problem was getting it off the shipping pallet! It would take about 4 guys or a hoist. Luckily, I have the latter. The unit is well constructed and with the handles raised for transport, moves very easily. We bought this for emergency use in case of a power failure. Like insurance, ya hope you'll never need it. ... show more

  • Easy starting. Easy setup. Quiet
Style: 18000 Watts - Dual Fuel - CO Sensor
This generator is the real deal. Easy setup. Easy starting. Quieted then I imagined. First power outage this thing got the job done with wattage to spare. No more flickering lights. No more microwave won't run. 2 ton A/C runs good on this generator. Great product. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price and value ... show more

  • They want you to fix their mistakes. They make it almost impossible to get required help.
Style: 18000 Watts - Dual Fuel - CO Sensor
I bought this and a 4 year protection plan. This 400 lb. item arrived on 6/5/2025. I read the manuals, filled out all necessary paperwork, and prepared to start my unit so it could be broke in. After 15 seconds of running, one of the spark plug connectors fell apart and the unit died. I called Westinghouse as the owners manual told me too and after a very long time on hold, my call was answered. I told them the issue, Sent pictures, was told to and did send my Amazon receipt to prove the unit was new. They wanted to send me a new plug wire assembly and have me do the work myself. I explained that I'm a Veteran who is 100% disabled and getting that low to the ground was a problem. Then, they wanted to send me to an authorized repair center. I asked them how I was going to load a 400+ lb. generator and what was I supposed to load it into? About a week later, two spark assembly wires arrived. Frustratedly I decided to give it a try as the Rep. for Westinghouse assured me it would not void my warranty. I spent three hours dismantling my new generator and replacing the bad unit. Once completed, I test ran the unit with Propane. It ran for 12 seconds and shut down. I switched to gas and got the same result. I'm staring in the face of hurricane season with a broken $3,000 generator from a company that doesn't seem too concerned about standing behind their product. Buyers beware!!! ... show more
