Purchased this "Wonder Saddle" because of how nice it looks in pictures and assured by an associate via phone, that the saddle was in fact made of leather. Once received, it was clear this was a featherweight among saddles. I questioned the quality and how it would hold up. I decided to keep the saddle for an annual showing only, knowing it wouldn't hold up to regular or normal use. I took this saddle out for a short trail ride on three separate occasions to get a feel for fit on the horse and overall performance. On the second time out two of the decorative cargo straps came off. The third time out, as you can see the strap holding the saddle to the horse broke in half. I didn't even realize until I got home it had broke (I'm 5'10" 165lbs ). You can clearly see the quality of this leather is not going to support the rider. I'm lucky I or one of my kids didn't fall off the horse in full run. In my opinion these saddles are more than poor quality.. They are unsafe.
