What most cowboy boot wearers don't understand is; Ariat, Cody James and many other high end cowboy boot makers use synthetic in a lot of their boots. All that is being paid for is a name. I have boots from $300 on down and these look and fit just as good. I have these in black and brown. On the black I painted the white stitching in black and no one knows they are not a high end boot. Same thing with cowboy hats. I have $500, $200, $100 and $80 hats. People think a $80 silver belly Cavendars felt cowboy hat is a Stetson. All day I kept getting compliments on it as a Stetson, and it has the Cavendars logo on the side. Putting it beside the same style Stetson, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, they look the same. These boots are solid. Like any other boot, if your rough on them, of course they will not last, just like Ariat will not last long if day in and day your working in a factory or on a real ranch. I've seen comments and pics for high end cowboy boots and pics look like someone was banging the boots on the side of a brick wall. Some people are just hard on boots and then complain they don't last. SMH. Things last how they are treated. If people want boots that won't wear out, buy steel toe. Ariat has steel toe work cowboy boots, as do other high end boot makers. But, they too will eventually wear out. Nothing lasts forever. Boots like this are for show, not dogging them like your in the army! ... show more

For $50 I thought I’d get what I paid for, to my pleasant surprise the boots look really nice, and they’re very comfortable, I wear a size 11 but these felt a liiiiiiittle big but since I’m not planning on running marathons in these bad boys I’ll survive.
