Overall, I really like this skirt. If I sized up, it might even be perfect... however, I used the hip measurement instead of the waist measurement for sizing, thinking that the waist would likely stretch an inch or two. My sizing advice: make sure each of the measurements in the size chart is at or above your own measurements! Sizing aside, the skirt is lovely. It's pretty chunky denim in a good way. The black color is nuanced and interesting. The buttons down the front are really attractive... and the length is great even for a tall girl (6'). Depending on where it sits on my waist, it hits just below my knees. It could be adjusted up or down depending on where you want the waist to sit. I unfortunately probably won't be getting much use out of this skirt since it's so tight in the waist for me, but I love it enough that I'm going to wear it for a while and see if the waist might stretch out a bit, or if I can perhaps alter it slightly. Get the right size, and I think you'll love this skirt!

I love the idea of a jeans skirt and thought this would be a great addition to my wardrobe. I was disappointed to find that the waistband is about 1" smaller than what was listed for the size I got. The hips have more than enough room, but it's too tight in the waist to wear comfortably. The jeans buttons are also the type that are a little wobbly rather than rigid. I'm not sure how much difference that makes with durability, but I prefer the rigid jeans buttons so they don't feel like they could break on me when wearing the garment. The length is good and the pockets are generous. The seams are overlocked and then top stitched providing the classic jeans look. The bottom hem is 1" deep and turned twice. The color is classic denim without any of the fake "weathering" that many jeans are cursed with. This skirt could last a very long time and should wear well.

The jean fabric is a bit stretchy and of great quality. The skirt hits right in the middle of my calves when worn at my waist. If you have a larger bottom half, I suggest sizing up a size of two. I ordered my usual size for skirts, and it was a bit tight on my bum and thighs. I would have liked to have more room at the top of the skirt because it felt a bit confining. The tightness made the buttons going down the center gape. The front does fully open but even with it being a bit tight on me the buttons stayed closed. There are pockets on each side and due to it being tight on me they flared a bit on the side. This personally annoys me, along with the button gaping because it shows that the skirt is too tight. The skirt is definitely flared at the sides but very slim back to front which isn't great if you have a bum. The color of the jean material was light and great for the summer months though the jean material is rather thick.

This is a cute skirt, like a throwback to 1992. It's very cute, but the top of the waist does run small. The denim doesn't have any stretch to it at all, so make sure to check the measurements! The weight of the denim is nice and heavy. Great value, really cute.
