  • Compact tool chest that packs a punch!
This is a great little rolling tool chest. I just do basic household repairs, so my tool ensemble is not very sophisticated, but it holds everything I need! I was a little challenged putting it together since it had to be done by hand except for two screws where I could use my mini power tool. But after a couple of mistakes where I put in the bolts upside down by the casters (the wheels wouldn't fully turn), I finally assembled it in very little time. This is a compact but sturdy metal tool chest. It easily rolls over flooring or carpet, and the seat is comfortable. I love being able to sit working on my projects and just reaching to grab what I need. It has a tool holder in the back, and I love that the side trays fold down for use and can be put away for storage. I looked at a lot of tool chests and carefully read the reviews. I think I purchased the best possible, price effective item for my needs. I'm not sure how it would stand up for professional use, but for household repairs, it is the perfect solution! ... show more

  • Makes it way easier for an old guy to work on stuff
This thing arrived in a big box. It took just a few minutes to assemble. I sat on the nicely cushioned seat, and it was easy to glide around effortlessly on it. There are magnetic tool/parts trays on each side that fold up when not in use. There are 3 smallish drawers that can easily hold a fair number of essential tools. And there is a rack that screws on the back that keeps screwdrivers and nut drivers at the ready. It is very sturdy. I am really glad I discovered this item. Getting down and especially getting back up again were becoming ever more challenging. At least for the time being, this helps solve that issue. ... show more

  • Great accessory and utility
This is the perfect little combination seat/tool box to keep your everyday essentials. Of course, this is just a moving toolbox, not where you keep everything. I put my ratchets, sockets and extensions in it. It sits sturdy, although I'm only 210 lbs. Can't really speak for folks heavier than me. It was a great investment for me and I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Garage Glider
I’ve recently decided to renew some of my furniture and needed something to scoot around furniture and sit on while painting inside nooks and crannies. This creeper is perfect and I have sandpaper, brushes, rags and everything I need within reach. I added a magnetic cup holder to keep my drink with me. 4 stars because I’m not loving the casters - They get stuck on cardboard seams as I’m trying to move around while painting. I’ve ordered replacements that have rollerblade wheels.m ... show more

  • Surprising awesome for the price
Aside from obvious use in garages and workshops, this is a great idea if you live in a small space and don't have room for a more capacious tool chest and would also like a short, mobile stool. Would also be an ideal "my first toolbox" gift for a kid. This has a fair amount of storage, rolls smoothly, is sturdy (at least for someone who is not huge), provides a useful seat, and takes up little room if you fold up the sides. The drawers "catch" a little when you close them (in an intentional way), so they do not just open by themselves; you have to want them to open. They come with liners, which was a nice touch. Easy to put together in 30 min. or less by one person, with vary basic tools (couple of crescent wrenches or socket drivers, and a Phillips screwdriver). Just make sure all the bolts are going upward; if you build it wrong, with the cap nuts on the bottom, they'll interfere with the rotation of the casters. I'm using this on a hardwood floor and the wheels are not leaving marks. But I only weigh about 165 lb. If you weight 325, who knows? Unlike the ones a few reviewers had issues with, mine did not arrive with any missing parts or holes drilled in the wrong places. It all was just right. The only down side I can think of is the huge ugly orange logo, but it was worth it to get this for about 20% less than every other variant of this (several sellers, but all clearly getting from the same factor, and just putting different branding on it). As other commenters have noted, you can do various modifications of it with comparatively little effort: * Over-stuff the seat. * Hinge the seat, and use sheet metal to close off the gaps under the seat, creating an additional storage compartment. * Replace the casters with taller or shorter ones, or more heavy-duty ones (threaded, though; this doesn't use the snap-in post found on office chair casters). I think I will get some taller ones, with wheel locks. * Add on magnetic stuff, like a nuts-and-bolts cup. ... show more

  • Not a bad little work chair with a toolbox
Style: Garage Glider
I got tired of the 5 gallon bucket and having to frequently get up to grab or move tools. This little (very little) toolbox on wheels with a comfy cushion works great. The drawers are a little sticky to open and may become possibly a concern over the long haul, but rest is great, although a little pricey for $90. I also feel fairly comfortable sitting on it as one concern was my heavy weight of 290 lbs and this unit has no problems so far, plus seems to be rated for up to 350lbs. Assembly was super quick, easy, and straightforward. The entire unit was also well packed inside a plastic bag surrounded with Styrofoam on two sides. One bad thing I did notice that being new, it already had scuff marks, but by the end of its lifetime it will have many more. Nothing some black spray paint won't fix in the future. The caster wheels are smooth and rotate freely 360 degrees. I read several other reviews complaining about a poor design and having to move the washers on the casters, but a little use of a braincell, reading glasses, and the included manual specifically states to put the supporting crossbars on the center bolts away from the closest caster bolts (see attached pictures). ... show more
