We have dark pre-finished hardwood floors, which are absolutely beautiful when they're clean. Over the last 10 years, I've tried just about everything including mixing up my own formula. I typically use another oil soap product for my floors that does a great job. I got this because it was safe for pets so i wanted to give it a try. It does clean the floors and they do look good. It may be that this product is intended for a spray mop because it says to put it on the floor and and then mop. So i have been carrying around the jug, pouring some on the floor and then mopping with a damp mop. Maybe i could just mix it in with the water before i mop, but it didn't seem like that was recommended only putting directly on floor. I have not bothered trying as i just need to get it done when mopping as i have 2 cats that like to 'help'. ... show more

I am very pleased with this product. I don't have to rinse after using it, which is so much easier. I mix it in my wet mop bottle and go to town on the floor. Very happy customer.
