These were a godsend for our 15yr old 52 lb dog that has developed intermittent incontinence issues mostly in the time it takes to bring him outside. He has very weak back legs due to both back ACL's needing to be stablized when he was young and 2 bouts of Old Dog Vestibular Syndrome earlier this year. When he recovered from ODVS he could no longer go down the stairs by himself. I use the diapers when he has to go out as he can not always hold it while I put the harness on that I need to lift him so I can carry him down the stairs and for the time for him to then walk through our garage to make it outside. It's about a 50/50 chance he will pee some amount in the diaper. Because my use for them is only for this purpose, I do not secure them using the entire length of velcro as it is really hard for me to pull it apart once we are outside so that he can pee as normal. Over time I have found it easiest to only attach about 2" of the velcro and not attach straight on but at an angle which gives me more room to have something to grab onto and quickly remove so he can go pee in the grass. These work great for me and have never leaked, however, I am giving 4 stars because when the velcro is secured fully, it is very hard to pull it apart especially if you are older with weaker hands and are trying to do it quickly and because they do take forever to dry to in the dryer, sometime 2-3 cycles. In order to save on electricity, I only dry them 1 cycle now and if they are damp I am no longer concerned as he only wears them for about 90 seconds. If he doesn't soil them, I let them fully dry in the house or outside in the sun. They hold up to washing very well. When I do wash them, I fully attach the velcro and turn them inside out and wash on the warm water cycle. They have always come out really clean. ... show more

I have three dogs (two female, one male), and the male kept marking inside my house. This would cause one of the females to mark on his mark, creating an awful cycle. I was looking for some kind of “diaper” for my male, and came across these bands. The marking has stopped completely. He still wears them 90% of the time when he is free roaming in the house, but so far we have not had any issues. Since he stopped marking, my female stopped as well. My male has had a few accidents in the band, particularly in the beginning, but they are so easy to wash it hasn’t been a big deal. Some notes I feel are important! 1) My male is a very timid dog and it took him a solid two days of having periods with the band on to get used to it. At first he would just sit or lay on the floor and refuse to move, but eventually he got used to them. 2) When washing, Velcro them closed bc otherwise they still to everything (lol) 3) My dog is able to get the band off if I don’t make it tight enough. He rubs himself on things until it just slides off. Because if this, we started putting the band tighter. But we noticed that the elastic edge that sits against his skin closest to his tail irritated his skin pretty badly and actually resulted in a small scab. We folded the elastic over onto the band itself to get that part off his skin and we have not had that issue since. ... show more

Thanks for the manufacturer for making an affordable and good product. Our old dog recently became a bit incontinent. At random times, the pup would pee. We would diligently clean it up and keep our chins up and tell the dog it's OK. The reality was that the stress of this problem was wearing us down. This product works as advertised. I just make sure to tuck his junk in the middle of the product and to ensure the sides are not folded in. The velcro is super strong. We now have a routine of putting the product on and off based on when the pup inside / outside. Just took a few times to incorporate this into our habits. It's great that this came with 3. When we have 2 that are soiled, we run the clothes washer. Really really appreciate this product. It means our pup gets to live with us for a little longer. 🐾 ... show more

I have been using these diapers for over 5 years. My male Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is about 140lbs and the XXL fit him with room to spare. He struggles with leaking and at his size- that’s a lot of pee. These diapers are absorbent (recommend adding the Wegreeco inserts for heavy leakers/markers) and wash well. I’ve had my original set since 2018 and have purchased 4 more sets just so that I’m not doing laundry as often! They hold up well, cause him no discomfort and haven’t caused chaffing. Impressive considering he’s in them full time when he’s inside. The Velcro is strong and I find myself able to use the diaper as a little hoist for when my old man needs help getting up. These diapers have helped me tremendously in keeping my house clean and sanitary. I was going crazy washing floors and couches. Definitely recommend purchasing and if I weren’t already so well stocked I’d buy some more! ... show more

We bought 3 sets of these dog bands already and are SO happy with the purchase. We have an old pitbul with pretty bad arthritis and he has accidents every day. We used to wash dog bed daily, which is hard and time consuming. After we got these waist bands for male dogs, we just wash several of them every day and that’s it. They don’t leak, they absorb large amounts of urine. We got XL size and fits our 55 pound dog well. He doesn’t even know it’s on him. Just stays on without rolling up or down. If you have an old difficult dog like we do, just buy a few of these and it will make life so much easier. ... show more

Got these for my hard to train male dog of 1 year. It's wonderful for both he and I to enjoy time & space inside, now that the days are turning cooler. He doesn't mind them a bit. I had read that they retain an odor of urine, but I have found that to not be the case if you rinse it out immediately and even soak it with a tad of detergent till you get it washed up.
